We start with a hunt around Chinatown for salt rib pork. We discovered a great building near the mosques. Then we found a semi-abandoned mall called Kinoo square. All because I got the date wrong for an appointment. Sometimes, surprise discoveries are the best.

The egg is firm tofu . That is is caled Teo kon is Mauritius. Teo is for To of tofu and kon means dry .

Ah Weng is on which street? Can't seem to hear that in your video. You should try Anam boulettes if you haven't. In the corner of Amical restaurant where you were walking. Best one out there especially their teokon farci 🤤🤤

You won't believe it but such 9:24 outlet stores are just like so closed during week days. This is where you realize how money can be smuggled into phoney businesses. That was Kinoo, well in Citadelle tower also there's lots of clientless stores... This subterfuge is call Hawala and is an underground parallel financing off the fiscal radar

I find a lot of the meat, even cold meats, very sweet. Not something we like for sure. Bought some Boerewors and mince at Biltong.mu for a taste of home. The chicken here in Mauritius is great. Went to the Ocean Basket at La Croisette and found that very disappointing. The Steers at SuperU is a total disaster with very bad reviews online. Had a horrible burger there once and will never go back for sure. Welcome back Bryan.
