I have a question. I know you do the order like you've shown, but is that the same rule if you are signing lyrics to a song?

For signed songs, many people choose to use Sign Supported English (SSE) which is the same signs as BSL but the word order of English, allowing you to sign along with the words of the song. Some translate the lyrics into the word order of BSL, however this can be tricky, especially as many songs use a lot of metaphors and imagery. Thanks for watching!

@@CommandingHands is there anywhere you can recommend to learn it? I want to learn BSL but would also like to be able to use sign language at church for the songs

@@charlottefitton6626 you can learn it watching Commanding Hands. They are the same signs like in BSL so you don’t have to learn it separately, just learn BSL and then just change the order of them so that they match the order of the song! :) hope this helps!
