Can you understand now why Army's justifiably get angry when they don't win performance awards when they should. These 7 men put everything they have into their performances and it shows! To quote RM "I'll prove it" and they do that every single time!

♦️This was from the annual Melon Music Awards, a Korean award show the equivalent to the Billboard Awards. BTS swept the awards, thus closed the award show, though many other artists did indeed perform beforehand. The cost of the production for BTS entertainment company BigHit, was over 500K dollars, and all the in-house production team of BigHit started planning it over half a yr beforehand! Also most of the rehearsal time that BTS had, was while they were touring worldwide. But they all were quite into doing this, and somehow managed to fit in the rehearsal like they did the yr before. The only one who performed live only, without benefit of VCR being shown, for the broadcasted version, was Jimin, who shows here being the phenomenal, outstanding, ever so breathtakingly amazing professional dancer he is, which he was even before joining BTS. His performance was beyond mesmerizing, so poised & elegant of a dancer. With the exception of Jimin, all the other solo performances were prerecorded live, with smaller audience the day before, since there was no way to have these stage sets and tank pool of water let alone have JK who was performing the dance in water get dried and change clothes beforehand! Although, all the members performed a live version of their solo dance, for the live audience, while the VCR was playing the prerecorded version that the broadcast, & or online audience saw. Also certain songs like Mikrokosmos were performed live beforehand, as well, so they could also allow for the special effects that only people who saw the broadcast on TV in South Korea or had it stream worldwide could see that version. Also the part with the live horses was filmed beforehand without an audience.

This was award show, not their concert. No American award show can hold a candle to this kinda show! They would lose their minds. Plus BTS took home all the top awards at this one! Blows your mind right.

They have to train singing running on treadmills just to keep their breath and stamina for their shows.THIS IS AN AWARD SHOW BTS PAID FOR ALL THESE STAGE SETS.etc.

❣️Jimin was the only one who performed live only, without benefit of the prerecorded VCR being shown, like for other BTS members, for the broadcasted version. Jimin's solo performance, wearing a modernized hanbok just fastened by ties only, had many different dance elements in it! Including the barrel leaps taken from Korean dance elements, some martial arts elements, (trained for 8 yrs in various forms w/blackbelt in Taekwondo), & of course contemporary dance. Also, equally ever so stunningly outstanding, was Jimin's scarf work, which is alone so hard to master, without getting that ever so thin veil of a scarf all tangled! Jimin somehow was able to make the scarf one with himself, using it as an extension, even at one point when he did that amazing jump leap straight up the scarf becoming his wings!! Jimin's whole performance was so amazingly stunningly beautiful. Just so effortlessly breathtakingly mesmerizing to see!!

Jimin’s solo dance gives me goosebumps every time. He’s such a talented dancer who is so versatile. I could watch him dance all day.

BTS and Bighit Entertainment is all out and very generous to their production especially on awards night. Very entertaining from start to finish. They alway level up their productions from concepts to props. 💯💯💯💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

I’ve watched this performance so many times now it’s sad lol but only because it’s so amazing and not boring what so ever. They’re that talented.

I can't watch western award shows anymore unless BTS is there because I find them so underwhelming compared to the performances they pull off in South Korea/Japan. 15:05 These boys here are part of the group Tomorrow x Together (TxT), which has 5 members. They are part of the same company as BTS, being very young, born between 1997 and 2002. The curious fact is that they were the second group that Big Hit debuted years after BTS, in 2018, if I'm not mistaken. They are considered by BTS to be their little brothers, and TxT considers them older brothers with more experience and advice for them.

There is NO WAY you can compare our awards show with theirs. This was not a concert. The whole performance was from Greek Mythology. Each one of the members represented a mythical god. The light bulbs coming down made up a queen's crown. Even the horses had a meaning. They did their homework. Maybe one of the ARMY can break done each representation better than I.

You should watch the BTS Butter performance at the 2021 Grammy's. And remember when you are watching it, that they DID NOT win!!!! Hence why it's called the Scammy's. BTS has been nominated for two 2022 Grammy's but not holding my breath that the academy will actually give it to them. BTS isn't willing to wine and dine the academy to win. Hats off to BTS. An award that has to be bought really isn't worth much.

You should watch their performance on previous years too on MAMA and MMA. Start from MMA 2014 and MAMA 2014 until now. For MAMA, BTS didnt have solo stage on 2014-2015, but they have collab stage with other kpop group. For me, their best collaboration stage is in MAMA 2014 with Block B (Block B is senior group in kpop industry, they debut in 2011, while BTS is in 2013). Is one of legendary collaboration. hi, i'm korean who stopped by. i was looking good reactors to bts since bts is hiatus (as a group) and then i found you. i wanna give some infos to you. when an artists, especially when they're have a big name, they'll perform more than 3 songs. usually they do pre-recording days before the actual show. that's why you can see they changing their clothes, hairstyles, shoes, stages, etc. and also month before or weeks before the show, they do a shoots for vcr videos for the changes from one song to other song. and also i want to say this, thank you for reacting bts' videos. please keep reacting to them (even it's old videos). hit the subs button before i leave. borahae 💜 (i purple you = i love you) 팬이 되주셔서 감사핮니다♡♡♡
