Just a quick point of reference, in the Korean culture, it's a sign of respect to turn away from your elders while you drink alcohol. That's why they kept turning away from Yoongi's face every time they took a sip. It's also a sign of respect to hold a glass with 2 hands when an elder pours something in your glass (usually soju).

This is such an adorable episode, Yeonjun being tipsy, Taehyun trying to be super professional and convey his total respect to Yoongi, and Yoongi just finding them both so cute. Heartwarming on every level.

The reason Yeonjun was so shocked about the club thing is because he thought about nightclubs, which are not seen as good places for idols to be ad (bad for reputation). But Suga meant club as in a place that only holds 200 people. The reason that Yeojun and Taehyun turn their head while drinking is out of respect. Korea has a drinking culture, there are a lot of different ethics that come into play. One of them is turning your head away from the person who is older out of respect.

Whats funnier is that Yeonjun is the eldest in TxT and Taehyun is one of the maknaes. 😅

Also a lot of people don't give TxT a chance because they're just known as BTS's little brother group, but they work hard and are talented in their own right. South Korea does have formal drinking etiquette. You can research it if you want, it's really interesting. The other guy in the Bighit group photo is Lee Hyun now known as Midnatt. He's been in Bighit the longest, but he couldn't mentor BTS when they debuted because he was doing his military service so the Bangtan Boys have been taking care of TxT just he would have taken care of BTS.

What I love most about TXT is that for the most part I believe some of them were already trainees under BigHit when BTS 1st started coming out. So they knew and saw the struggles BTS went through in the beginning because they were there. They are aware of how much work BTS put in. I hope you get around to watching Hoshi and Woozi from Seventeen's episodes. They are also under the Hybe family.

OMGGG the way I screamed !! TXT are also one of my FAVE groups ~ they have amazing talented members, and I think you’d love their discography, lyricism and lore! Trust me if you ever were interested you won’t be disappointed (please note they are very different to BTS so can’t be compared hehe). But this interaction with Yoongi is truly one of my favourites he’s such a cutie 🥹 Edit: Can’t believe I have to say this but I’m literally a diehard army since 2016 who is also a Moa. If you’re gonna be mad that I showed appreciation for them grow up lol.

The thing is that TXT didn't join a company knowing they would have immediate success if they got to debut. Like Taehyun got offers from a lot of companies and could've easily joined a company that was better off at the time. TXT members joined Bighit between 2014-2016, so most of them joined while BTS was still considered a small group and in 2016 BTS had just started to make it big. So they were around when the company was really small and still struggling. A lot of people just assume they had it easy, while in reality they experienced what it's like to be in a small struggling company. They experienced that company growing thanks to their seniors. So they understand better than anyone what BTS's success means for them and other new/upcoming artists under bighit/hybe.

Keep in mind that TXT still had to be trainees before they debuted and the amount of time someome may spend as a trainee varies from person to person. So although TXT debuted when BTS was already a global sensation, they still witnessed what Big Hit was like before a lot of the fame. From my recollection, i think Yeonjun started his training in 2014 which is a year after BTS debuted and was the longest trainee in the group for 5 years. Taehyun, again just going off memory so please take with a grain of salt😭, started training in 2016. So they actually did live through Big Hit being a much smaller company. Also to add, there are people who have made compilations online of BTS interacting with TXT. There's also a bighit video of behind the scenes footage for their Big Hit family photos that you got a glimpse of in this video.

This is such a great episode. I honestly think you guys would LOVE TXT's music. They are incredibly talented and creative, and have a super unique sound. Some of the members of BTS (mostly RM) have actually contributed to the writing and producing of some of their songs. And they're the only other group who understand what it was like at BigHit before it became HYBE. Because they were all trainees before BTS became superstars. So the company was still struggling when the TXT members were training before their debut. They do work insanely hard, and have never taken the opportunities BTS' fame has given them for granted. Just like SUGA says here: they're KILLING it. Two English language songs put out in the last few months (one with Jonas Brothers and the other with Brazilian artist, Anitta), they just headlined Lollapalooza (like Hobi did last year), and they've got a new album coming out this month. And every time they come back it's even more creative. I highly recommend checking them out, it would be a logical next step after BTS. Oh, and their fandom, MOA, stands for "Moments of Alwaysness", but that's all I know. I'm not sure how they came up with that.

Before it aired Yeonjun was spamming Weverse because he was anxious about it lol. He didn't remember how he got home. They're so cute. They make great music. Looking forward to the new album, as always.

The editing for Yeonjun always gets me too 😂 TXT are some of the biggest ARMYs out there, they love BTS a lot and it definitely shows in their interactions and how they speak of them. TXT are such great and talented guys! I’m so glad y’all saw this as y’all’s first exposure to them. A lot of people (haters) have had prejudice against them and discounted any of their success as all due to BTS being their hyungs but they’ve worked SO hard. And they look up to and respect BTS so much. They’ve never used BTS’s name for clout and have always acknowledged the privilege it was to debut after them. Not to mention, their music is freaking awesome! They’re amazing performers and vocalists. Coming after BTS was no joke. They had all eyes on them when they debuted and there was so much scrutiny and pressure from the media and the public. Imagine being the first and only group to debut under BigHit after BTS, at a time when BTS were absolutely dominating worldwide. Despite all of that, they’ve definitely carved their own path and their own direction with their music and as a group. I’ve been an ARMY since 2014 and a MOA since 2020. I used to say I would only ever follow and love BTS the way I do but I’ll admit now to being a little close minded lol. Since when does love and capacity to enjoy art and music have limits? They’re also very different as groups and individuals. Its really nice to be a fan of both groups. I totally recommend anything by txt if y’all are interested 🫶🏽 I consider myself lucky to get to love and enjoy both of their music/content.

I'm a moa and i love how Yoongi pointed out that TXT were the only other Hybe grp to have experienced old Bighit (and the moldy practice room with mushrooms lol). The members were trainees when BTS were still rookies so they had to share the practice rooms (or go to Hakdong). There was a time Jin felt sorry for them when they had to vacate to let BTS practice and bought them pizza and they'll always remember his kindness. 🥰 BTS paved the way and let Hybe grow but TXT was also there struggling during the growing yrs and not a place of comfort and privilege as many think. They worked hard to get where they are and i'm so proud of them.

TXT are good juniors. So even though I’m not MOA, I really like them. I like some of their songs, i’m a casual listener. I’m kind of a Soobin and Yeonjun biased 😁 Yeonjun is hilarious in this one and Taehyun is adorable.

Daniel’s explanation about TXT’s reaction to hearing that BTS performed in clubs was spot on. But just to add to that, the Korean idol scene is completely different from the US. In the US it’s not uncommon for artists to start small by performing in clubs. In Korea (especially when talking abt idols) that’s virtually unheard of. So even if BTS wasn’t the huge artists they were when TXT debuted, they still would’ve been shocked to hear that. That’s just more insight into how hard BTS had to work to get to where they are.

The things is most txt members joined bighit when it was relatively small and they are the only other group from hybe (apart from bts) to practice at that small 2 story building.

I voted for Taehyung Dingo Story, but this was easily my second choice. Perfect timing with Suga just leaving for the military, this episode shows Suga's selflessness and shows him in a father/big brother mood which I love to see. I could not stop smiling during this episode. Suga appreciates people who watch all episodes of Suchwita instead of just watching 7 episodes and refusing to watch others. He put a lot of effort into this show🥲💜

Someone else might have told you this but the picture of TXT with j-hope & Jimin was taken at Lollapalooza where TXT also performed and Jimin had flown there to support j-hope being the first BTS member to venture out as a solo & having a headline stage at Lollapalooza. And yes, if you ever get done with BTS you should check out TXT - they're really the only other k-pop group I listen to as they have many good songs.

TXT are amazing and it sometimes pisses me off when they’re always related to BTS, each of them have their own color. TXT have very good and diverse discography and a lot praise them for that, they are incredible at performing and are chaotically hilarious like so far I haven’t someone as chaotic as they are 😂 Overall, I think checking out TXT would be an amazing decision, you don’t want to miss out on such an amazing group!

yoongi said that people know txt as bts’ younger brothers and think they had it easy because of it, but he knows that that’s not the truth (txt spoke multiple times of the hardships they had during their trainee days) and that they made it bacause of their passion and hard work. so yeah he wouldn’t like people to know them only as their brothers. MOAs too, absolutely don’t like txt being called that, they haven’t worked hard for 5 years just to be called that.

I really love the relationship between Taehyun and Hobi , based on some clips we see where Taehyun can just comfortably message Hobi with anything whether regarding their performance or asking for encouragement and Hobi promptly replies is such heartwarming to see.
