I personally feel like Yoongi in comparison to his relationships with all the members of BTS treats Jungkook and Taehyung like his kids. He truly adores them, he finds them cute and funny and always giving them advice whether about music or life in general. He has this fatherly relationship with all the members but it shines through even more when he's around Jk or V

Taehyung actually taught me to be kinder to myself and respect my feelings as it is and convey them as they're without blaming someone for it, just acknowledge what you feel and respect that feeling and move on.. he has a gentle aura that extend to even himself, he has a calming effect and his voice is truly soothing, having him and yoongi only in one setting is truly calming to the soul.

I’ve always thought they are a lot alike. Especially in the authenticity aspect. They’ll play it up for the cameras sometimes but when they aren’t feeling it, you KNOW. It feels like they aren’t in the business of faking how they feel for Army or anybody else. (Not to say the others fake it, but they know how to play the game so to speak). With these two in particular, what you see is what you get. In my personal opinion

Suga and V are definitely the most “real” members if you know what I mean, in the sense that their face always conveys what they’re feeling, you can always tell how they’re feeling or what they’re feeling BCZ they don’t bother hiding it.

tae has always said that he likes people that look cold outside but are warm inside, maybe that's why he likes teasing yoongi a bit and getting reactions out of him

About Taehyung, I personally think he is the epitome of learning of how to love yourself and very accepting and loving to his younger version. His song inner child for example tells that. Also, whenever theyre younger selves is being shown or talked abt, unlike most people that would be embarass and like shy abt it, he expresses this nostalgic and very endeared to his younger version. I think thats where his confidence and gentleness came from the sense of security to oneself and accepting who you are.

Because of his quiet, unassuming nature, Tae's voice often got drowned out in the cacophony of their group conversations. Over the years, Namjoon and Yoongi have become aware of this and will often make sure that Tae gets his turn to speak. Tae seems to thrive on praise and encouragement and the older members have become aware of that and make sure they give him their attention and praise.

Tae really admires Yoongi and actually wants his respect (Tae loves to be praised, but only from people he really respects/loves), Yoongi really admires Tae’s unique way of thinking and is very endeared by him. It’s a super charming interview.

I've notice throughout the years that Yoongi provide that "safety" to V. He is very nurturing and protective in a way. It seems like he is the member that understands V the most.

It’s funny because upon my first introduction to BTS, armys and even the members themselves always talked about how different taehyung and yoongi are but I think this interview shows that they’re alike in a lot of ways!

i teared a lil bit when u stated that Tae give a sort of child like image , that he is honest and confident and he is a gentle soul like oh my god u are spot on . Tae has faced a lot of rumors and media reported him as a disrespectful person and stupid fans of other groups always harrass him and say awful horrific things about him because of his popularity and cuz of how ppl and general public really love and cherish him Taehyung is strong , pure and loves Army so much in his unique own way , he doesnt deserve this chain of hate and envy . and let me tell u something Yoongi really admires taetae and finds him endearing, they have one of the most beautiful bonds out there and no one can change my opinion May God bless their beautiful hearts.

If I remember right, Jimin once said that he had never met someone as "pure" and "untainted" as Taehyung/V and that Taehyung/V himself may not even be aware of it. My bias is Taehyung/V and my bias wrecker is YoonGi/Suga, although I love and care for all 7 of them. I've always thought that Taehyung and YoonGi have a lot of things in common. Taehyung deeply respects YoonGi and looks up to him. But at the beginning they had difficulties communicating with and understanding one another. YoonGi has said that at first he thought Taehyung's behaviour was just a "concept" (kind of role playing, in a way. A "fakade" to distinguish one member from another in front of the fans). But then, after living with him for some time, he realized Taehyung uniqueness is real, it's genuine. And so he felt surprised that a person like Taehyung actually existed. I think realizing how genuine Taehyung is, was the first step to bring them closer, as before that Yoongi tended to have a bit of a cynical and skeptical attitude towards people in general and in some aspects of life. Then, in one of BTS travels (BonVogage), they made Yoongi and Taehyung hold hans every time they were on disagreement (and did they have to hold hands a lot during that travel!). And I think that also brought them closer. Now, after many years together, all BTS member have become family with one another. They all share such a beautiful bond! 💜💜💜

I honestly think that the Daegu boys are the real unbothered kings among the bunch. Not that they're cold or indifferent but it is clear to them what they believe in and what matters in their lives and they don't give a f*** what others think of how they live their lives. To me that is just so refreshing.

V is very honest,that's why his co members amazed to him because he speak honestly even not suitable for his image as idol (perfect)

I love Team Holding Hands! (they agreed to hold hands in Bon Voyage when they were going to argue!) There is an early interview of Suga saying when he first met Tae he thought he was putting on an act, that he couldn't believe that was Tae's real personality. He couldn't understand someone being so care free, impulsive and unpredictable. Also in their official line up Suga is the only person Tae stands next to so he has looked out for Tae for years.🐱🐯💜

I love this duo! We often witness Suga and RM saying "Do what you want to do" to V. V is someone who needs a lot of attention and love, and hyungs know that very well. We've also seen V forcing Suga to say "I love you" or hugging touching Suga when he refused🤣 When Suga finally shows some love to V, we can tell how happy V is. They're just so adorable to watch.

the most classic example of Tae's pure self is when he got lost in Sweden (Bon Voyage) and just went with the flow instead of panicking. he knows things will work out if you wait long enough LOL

Taehyung knows Yoongi gets embarrassed when he's "exposed" for doing something sweet for someone else, so the extended eye-contect after thanking him for the strawberries is definitely him making fun of that 😂. Just the fact that Tae made a point of bringing this up at all 😂. It reminds me of that time when Taehyung brought up a long text message he got from Yoongi that ended with "I love you" and I was just waiting for Yoongi to hide under the table with embarrassement 🤣🤣.

There's a lot more to Yoongi and Taehyung's relationship than what is apparent to the average international viewer. 1. It's interesting that you mention Suga and V respecting each other's "realness". At first, Yoongi didn't care for/understand V because he thought V was "faking" his quirkiness. But then he made up a system for when they were disagreeing with each other, they would hold hands and take a pause before speaking to each other. In past Run BTS eps, you can see them hold hands frequently. As time passed, Suga realized that V was being authentic and their relationship improved dramatically. 2. V has a unique way of speaking that is often misinterpreted or not understood. Suga has become his translator now that he fully understands who V is. 3. You cannot discount the fact that they come from the same city, Daegu. They are referred to as the "Daegu Boys". There are stereotypes in Korea based on where you are from, as well as dialects. "To talk purely of stereotypes, it goes something like this. Bear in mind though that many of these things are more in the background of Korean people's minds rather than predominantly the judgment of their fellow citizens. Just like how most politically correct people in the US, for example, would be aware of regional stereotypes (e.g. the Deep South, SoCal/West Coast, Midwest, etc) but not use it as the main factor in dealing with people, I would argue it's the same in Korea." Daegu is in the "Gyeongsang (region): Fiery, hot-tempered, and impatient. A lot of this is reinforced by the regional dialect, which shortens a lot of words. It also actually has tones, unlike other regional dialects in Korean. They're perceived to be loud and to stand their ground, although they also have reputations of loyalty to their friends." So the fact that they are both from this region made them closer as well. Similarly, Jimin and Jungkook are both from Busan, so they have that bond as well. 4. I think they also have a strange balance in terms of their family life. Tae was raised in a very openly loving family, while Yoongi was raised in a family that valued stoicism over affection. Tae ignores Yoongi's stoicism and embraces him fully and Yoongi has learned to trust in Tae's love for him. If anything, I would argue that they may be the closest "ship" because of their diametrically opposed ways of showing affection. 5. As time has gone on, it has been interesting to see how Yoongi has been changed by V and Taehyung has been changed by Suga. I use their stage names intentionally. Their personas, the quietly lethal lyricist Suga and the quirky, soulful V have given each man aspects of their own personas to incorporate into their real life. Yoongi is the interviewer here, a role he never would have taken at the beginning of the BTS journey. Taehyung can quietly share his ideas on songwriting; V was almost incapable of sitting calmly and being authoritative in the beginning. I have to say that of all the interpretations you've had of BTS interactions, this one seems to be your most deadly accurate. Thank you for sharing your perceptions of these amazingly talented and thoughtful men.

That’s the character that made me love V aka Kim Taehyung, he is sincere, honest, soft and oozing with charisma. When a person has a pure kind soul it radiates outside. I sincerely agree to your analysis of V. That man really draws you in.❤

V is a companion between purity and smart. His personality is so unique and charming ❤

I think V takes things in his stride but puts a lot of effort into perfecting one thing at a time. I think he likes to be in the moment and stay true to himself and his emotions in the presence if that makes sense. He seems like he’s not thinking but he’s an actual genius in a way and is very deep and soulful person. I love his honesty and his pure soul I love Yoongi and V dynamic. Yoongi is very soft with Him and V takes full advantage of it. I honestly laugh so so so much when V becomes very playful and Yoongi goes with it. Each member has a special bond with each other and can bring out/ highlight a different part of each other’s personality. It’s beautiful.

It is funny because when Suga and V first came together Yoongi said they didn’t not get along. Yoongi also said he had a hard time understanding him. Though as time passed on you can tell Yoongi loves him. Tae is like a little brother to Yoongi. Tae is one of the members that probably can do anything to Yoongi and he wouldn’t really care or could say get away with it. Their also is a compilation of when V and Suga disagree they had to hold hands and for some reason it helped. Lol.

Taehyung's philosophy is really influenced by his dad (one of the most important people to him). The most impactful line his dad said to him was "it's no big deal". This was when Tae was having a hard time when he was younger and his dad simply says that it's ok if he decides he doesn't want to do something anymore, it's no big deal~ Tae has embodied this motto deeply.. Max, i hope u one day (if u haven't yet) react to V's poem to each of the members titled "It's no big deal", where he mentioned the things each member is hung up on or worries about and tells them why "it's no big deal". It's from a Run BTS episode. Tae knows the importance of not giving himself pressure even as he pursues the things he loves. He doesn't get overly-apologetic because he knows that life cannot fully be controlled and needs to be given space to be organic...just like how music should be created organically.

It took me a long time to actually appreciate V.I could not understand him at all but after a while I concluded that he is a person who has innocent sarcasm and most importantly a very greatful person.I see it in the way he addresses ARMY and BTS.He loves and jokes in his own way.....but what did it for me is his sincerity to ARMY.I can honest say he nailed me to being an ARMY.

I want you to see how Tae is with all of the members individually so bad! Different parts of his personality come out with each member and it's so nice to see🥺

Suga has a huge soft spot for Tae. I love their relationship

I've always thought that Yoongi had a soft spot for the younger members, but I think he just understands V well. I truly think they are the two most "real" members. V has said multiple times that he's not good at being fake.

It's said often by ARMYs that in the way that Jungkook admires and looks for validation from Namjoon, so also does Taehyung from Yoongi.

I don't know how so many people miss it but V is extremely sarcastic, just like Yoongi. His sense of humour mostly relies on sarcasm and he's very, very subtle which makes it even funnier yet harder to detect. Like when Yoongi said you don't have to finish a song in a day or two, V went on to make an honest joke about how it's been taking him 4 months - that was most definitely sarcasm. Also, V is for sure a perfectionist. Except I don't know how he's managed to accomplish it but he doesn't pressure himself in his pursuit for perfectionism. I completely agree with your point about V's confidence. So is Suga, really. I'd dare say they're the most unapologetic and confident BTS members, solely because of how much confidence it takes for one to be exactly who they are. What you see is what you get and if they don't want to, they won't do it.

V has love and respect for Yoongie but loves to draw out expression and emotion from him as well. He presses him to say I love you back by saying he loves him and won't leave the room until he hears him say it. Will grab and start dancing with him until he dances when they are goofing then Yoongie out of his shell starts the goof. Them together is adorable. I think Suga picks up on Taehyungs needs and where he'd tell another to get the F away he just let's himself be hugged. Grumpy cat.

taegi is such an underrated duo omg i love them so much

It is my feeling that V received the fundamental gift of being very well loved as a child giving him an inner security. Suga has also a good sense of his worth but it's rather intellectual not so much emotional. They both come from the same town of Daegu and speak the same dialect but strangely enough they weren't closed in the beginning, they disagreed about everything and V was quite exuberant and mischievous which got on Suga's nerves. But Taehyung matured a lot and they have a great bond nowadays. As Taehyung is very secure emotionally he once had the guts to tell Suga on a live show that he was a "pabo", an idiot, to care about nothing else but music. He literally told Yoongi, you're emotionally withdrawn, it's not a good you idiot and he meant it. Each time Tae's got that little smile, I know there's playful toying with Yoongi.

V has such a gentle and loving soul, he’s always aware of people’s feelings and careful about them, and I noticed him comforting the guys in secret multiple times. He loves his family and his friends so much and very protective of them. His dad is his role model, he said he want to be like his dad when he grows up. The members always say he is very pure and untainted. On top of that he is an amazing and a very hard work artist. I love this man so much, he really helped me change in so many perspectives in my life.

I feel the same way as you. He's a very pure, honest type of person. If he doesn't like to do something, he won't do it. I feel that V is the most free-spirited in the group. He doesn't do things quickly instead slowly but surely. He looks very carefully before starting to do something

When you mentioned his innocence I keep remembering Jungkook who is the actual youngest saying he loves V's innocence. They call him the happiness preacher for a reason and I know it's cuz he reminds they to live in the moment and do some of the funniest things. V will have the members do random acting skits at anytime.

I think all the members somehow look for Suga's approval LOL He's just that guy.

V is a very honest person

I think that V and SUGA's relationship is like one of father and son. SUGA seemed to have been a support and a calming influence on V in the early days. When Tae gets wound up in his own TaeTae language SUGA can translate it so we understand what he's getting at. V craves SUGA's approval just like a son. SUGA will give in and do anything for Tae. I think Yoongi might just have to pull the dad card to help V get that album finished. Yoongi and Tae have the same dry sense of humour. Yoongi has said that Tae has or had very different views to him. I think it was during a Bon Voyage that Yoongi said that if they disagreed they would hold hands for five minutes and he sat there holding V's hand to make the point much to the surprise of the others. I always love how they are around each other. Just casually watching them you'd think they differ a lot. But when you get to know them more, especially during interviews like this, you'll find they actually have similarities. We see how much respect and care Yoongi has for V. Same goes with how much respect V has for Yoongi, not only as an older member but an actual brother.

Gentle but stubborn... Yes they're much alike, and earlier you could see they tumble over their differences because they were alike in a way. But especially Yoongi, in my opinion, found another way to communicate with V. Also had the impression that V earlier wanted to impress Yoongi alot...

i don't think Taehyung is sarcastic, that's just his humour. when he says something and smiles a little i think it's because he knows what he said is quite funny, like he knows 4 months of rest within the members is a long time to rest, so he'll say it with a straight face (or with a tata mic face lol) to pretend that what he's saying is normal so the others will laugh. idk if i explained that well but it's the type of humor that i also have 😄

Taehyung and Yoongi have my favorite relationship. It's changed so much throughout the years. Yoongi aays he has learned how to process and express his feelings and emotions from Tae. And Tae respects and admires Yoongi's talent so much. I think he has always seeked validation from Yoongi. And both have said on many occasions that they really don't wear a mask...what you see is what you get. But one thing for sure is these 7 men are excellent listeners, have the remarkable ability to self reflect and are just so considerate and kind.

I think V has utmost respect for Suga with Suga being older than him and also having more experience in composing and producing music. They may not see eye to eye earlier on but in Bon Voyage Season 2 ( 2017), they were put together for a certain friendship mission and I think they learnt to give and take during that period and from there they developed mutual respect for each other.

i love them, they're both my bias and although i know they're different in some ways i've always think they're very similar in so many ways, they are very confident about themselves, they do things because they want to and they're not afraid to show their feelings and say what they think even if that's what people don't want to hear, they're very honest and you can tell when they're excited, happy, sad,, unconfortable or done lol and i love that about them

V is incredibly out of the ordinary. It doesn't look like it but he's not only deep with what he feels but also with what he thinks, and he really is a perfectionist in his own way, the guys have said it many times and that's also why he hasn't finished his mixtape in 4 years, JK who is one of the most perfectionists says that V is more than him. V thinks outside the box and it's amazing to watch videos of him, example with the 'lie sensor' his is the only one not moving, not reflecting nervousness or certainty. His compilation videos of his brilliant mind talk a lot about him, I recommend you watch them, you'll love them!

this made me sorta emotional.. they are so different yet so alike. the way bts as a group and as individuals have found, understood and respect each other over time continuously is really inspiring. these two are a good example of that

Ah, my double bias. I love this interview. I love how Yoongi takes on the mentor role to Tae and how Tae appreciates his input. Sometimes it's frustrating to follow Tae's progress on his solo album. It's not really the amount of waiting that we have to do. It's more of this issue, for me: Tae has posted many snippets of his songs on IG or Twitter (very good songs, I love them all), just to say later on that the songs he's shared online are the ones he's scrapped from his album, deeming them not good enough. I cry inside whenever I'm reminded that we'll never get the full version of these songs. On the other hand, if he's cutting songs that are that good, hopefully it means the songs he still has are incredibly great. I've seen Yoongi trying to encourage Tae to release his album three times now. In this interview, in the FESTA dinner, and in a vlive. He always brings up the subject first. I think it's somewhat frustrating to him too that his younger members are trying to release the perfect albums, when he thinks they should just release them to get feedback from the listeners.

V respects Suga for his rap style, but the member that V looks for approval from is J-Hope.

I love this and i love reading the comments...it goes to show how ARMY really know Tae and Yoongi so well ( as well as the other members) , how their dynamic really is and how important it is to us to see their relationship with each other. My biases, these two have mean so much to me ( and to many of us). How endearing, how precious and how lucky they are to have this bond, at times we are only a spectator to all of these and yet it matters most to us, seeing them, experiencing them.

I never thought about it before, but you're right that Yoongi & Taehyung are similar in certain ways. It's a pair we don't see very often. They both speak very honestly, and don't pretend or go out of their way to please other people's expectations.

I think they are very similar in their values & beliefs, they understand & respect one another on a deeper level as they come from the same city/town of Daegu where you feel a kindred connection with people who are from your own hometown & plus they speak the same dialect & Yoongi always looks out for & protects Tae so it’s nice to see them one on one having a conversation, my fav interview is still Jinkook’s it was so real & authentic

V has a dry sense of humor. He can say things totally straight and get the laugh. But yes, very gentle and interested in who he's talking to.

yessss, that's true, they are always the very honest ones, honest with what they want to convey and with themselves, I can see so many similarities between them, Tae can be very sexy and badass when he wants to, just as Yoongi, our hardcore rapper, an then we have those sweet, lovely moments when they are the cutest ever and you just wanna give them a huuuuge hug or just a smile back, love them both, V is my favoruite but Suga holds the second place. Of couuuurse Tae admires Suga, he even rapped his part of Daeng and he was so stressed about it becasue he wanted to do it the best he could, so as not to disappoint Suga and the fans. They are both quite introverts, they don't always say much but they are great listeners and observers.

9:16 i can see why hes kinda similar to jin. taehyungs known to be so random and playful. he has toned it down as he matures but his quirkiness is still there. i think itd be interesting if u made a series out of their recent individual vlogs. would be amazing to see more of their individualities in ur perspective :)

Why don't you make an episode or more where you don't react to anything but talk about what you have gathered about each of them so far , draw a character , describe them deeply with your insights on them.

Both are from the same place & both from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Both were raised by their grandmothers to a large extent. Early on in their career it was really obvious that Yoongi was very protective of Taehyung. I remember a fan meet way back, maybe 2015 when Taehyung spoke in satoori & some fans where laughing. Yoongi quietened them down immediately ensuring they stopped laughing. Tae once said he was 'still learning Korean' & in a way back then he was.

3:29 you mentioned that one reason that draws you in to V is his "almost childlike way of explaining things". Interesting, because Jimin also validated that. He mentioned before that V is "really pure". He's almost childlike, not in a childish way but in a really innocent and carefree way with which he views the world and connects to people. I love thet about him, and her certainly inspires me🥺💜

I always saw something very similar about V and Suga. They seem somewhat alike even though they are different individuals.

Personally I relate to Taehyung and Yoongi the most out of all the members. No beating around the bush but their approach is slightly different. V so soft spoken and Yoongi so chill makes for some terrific conversations. Excellent breakdown.

Suga understand v very well. If you want to dig out through V’s deep thoughts and heart get yongi to sit down with V. V responds very well to his bts brothers especially the hyungs with respect. We have seen him back out once the hyungs points out something important. The hyungs also respects and loved the young bts as brothers.

I´ve never really seen these two together, just two of them talking, and the mood and the energy is just very calming. They are alike, I never really noticed that.

Tae genuinely wants Suga's approval. He's a very sensitive soul, and he needs approval, I think, especially from people he respects. Interestingly, these two share the same home town. I wonder if that might be where some of their similarities come from. Yoongi also shows a lot of care and understanding of Tae by bringing strawberries - they're Tae's favorites.

I perso ally love this Tae and Suga vids. Two of biases. My first bias was Suga cause I felt the "realness" and "unbotheredness" about him but through the years, Tae also caught my attention cause of the same traits tho it fascinates me of this "innocent" and "pure" aura I can see in him alongside the "savage" and "unapologetic" that he also possess.

This analysis is really interesting especially because at least in my opinion, I thought that a great communicator would be someone with a passionate, hyped, exciting and loud style. That one should always be aggressive (not in bad way) in communicating but makes me happy to know more about how one can be a soft communicator and that it's ok, comforting and that it doesn't mean you won't be heard or taken seriously. V is a very good example of this. Suga, he's great, he's really a very cool person, such a great personality and his love for all of his members is something you won't fail to see. He's so caring and I think he's also a great communicator. He's someone that makes me trust him for the consistency and the way he is.

I am the same as Yoongi in with this, I don't really look at people but I always listen to what they are saying. But sometimes I feel like my teachers at uni thinks I am not really present so they tend to ask me questions. Like, c'mooon :D I don't have enough energy to put an act each lesson to show them I'm listening.

I see V as the person who acted spontaneously earlier on. In the first episode of Bon Voyage Season 1, he merely hopped onto a random bus which took him to a countryside area in Sweden. He alighted from the bus together with the camera man and then walked for a long distance around the countryside admiring nature without a worry. The camera man was more worried than V. But over the years, he matured and I noticed that he is no longer as spontaneous as before. It is like he is now more toned down. I maybe wrong in my analysis here though. One thing I do notice about him is that he is a very sensitive and endearing person.

I think Yoongi laughed when V said he put his mixtape on hold because V's been working on it for years and has yet to put it out, so it's become this thing among them. Yoongi has probably been the main person to encourage him to put the music out but V is a true perfectionist and won't do it until he thinks its really good. So Yoongi was most likely teasing him in the beginning like "when is it going to come out huh?" and V saying that it put it on hold made Yoongi laugh because that's the answer he expected since V has been taking so long to put it out.

Sorry for three comments but I heard (idk if this is true), that Tae scraped all his songs from this mixtape he was preparing 😢😢😭. In my opinion I think Tae feels so much pressure to release good music. Personally I think he should just release some of his songs even if he isn’t sure. It might help him figure out what ARMY or others like…idk just my opinion. I am really looking forward to his album whenever he decides to release it. Edit: I think when it comes to music, Tae puts a lot of pressure onto himself.

I wonder if its because they're both from Daegu..or close by. Country boys rather than big city rich boys. Maybe they have a similar upbringing which means that they have an understanding, a commonality that draws them together. Also, Taehyungs almost childlike quality might bring out big brothers protective, kind, understanding side more. Taehyung makes it difficult for you to not adore him.

I hope you have time to look on V & Jhope interview on this series. that is so amazing, in my opinion.

this is going to be long - yoongi and taehyung started off at quite a rough path, as they wouldn't agree on many things and would ultimately clash. taehyung has always admired yoongi and talked highly of him and yoongi would show his support and love in more of his quiet and subtle ways. through the years of bts being together yoongi and taehyung's relationship has strengthened tremendously. i also believe it has something to do with time and the boys maturing. yoongi's "harsh" edges has softened around taehyung, he told him how much he loves him over a 20-lines text (if i call correctly, it was a long text) to which taehyung loved to gush about. taehyung declared he will carry yoongi as "a stone" to many beautiful places (yoongi believes he would be a stone in his next life) but taehyung thinks he wouldn't be just a regular stone. 😊 i think they bring out beautiful sides of each other when they are together. taehyung likes to bring out yoongi's affectionate, goofy side out, and yoongi brings out taehyung's more serious, profound side, they are very compatible in that way. they have lots of sweet, heart fluttering bits of moments around the web and are a lovable due. sorry for the long essay, had a lot to say. (and still left a lot unsaid) 😄💜
