That is very super simple and much less dangerous compaired to other bike rigs by other people and using a gear reducer like that really gives it some power and it looks clean built.

At 1:50 when you made the original test the motor while powerful barely turned, how did you get it to turn so fast once installed?

I like that !!! You need to air up tham tars Batt. Will last longer and you'll get a little more speed out of it . Put a good hot car batt. On it may last longer or a lawn Moore Battery one .

Das ist Cool. Son tolles, sicheres und professionell zusammengebautes "E" Bike. Das Rad allein war bestimmt schon 150 Euro Teuer. Qualität kostet eben.... Lass die Kids mal ne Runde drehn. That's cool. Son great, safe and professionally assembled "E" bike. The bike alone was certainly already 150 euros expensive. Quality costs just .... Let the kids do a lap.

can you say what type of battery use for wiper motor.i am palnnig to build a kuds car.but someone told if wiper motor use the battery will drain in 10 mins.

It depends on the amp hours of the battery if you use a windshield wiper motor like in the video i would recommend a 12volt 12 amp hour battery the higher the amp hours the longer the battery will last

What is the motor originally from or for? That configuration looks a lot like a tarp motor I know nothing about the gear ratio which is an important factor to consider.

i did something similar, only i used 2 ryobi batteries for 36v, and a junk razor e100 scooter motor. it wasn't fast enough, so i've upgraded to a 36v hoverboard battery for $35, a 500w my1020 motor for $50 and a controller & throttle for $20, from ebay. does about 35mph now.

@@edwlinbarragan3154 uhhh, ok. well, this should be interesting. i've never made a video before, so it will be totally craptastic i'm sure. i've got it torn down to paint it right now, so when i get it all back together i'll give it a try. gotta be patient though. i work two jobs, so free time for me is at a premium. to get an idea of what it looks like, it started life as an x games motobike i got at a flea market for $10.

You need two Free Wheels, one for each Crank Arm and (a better gear ratio, but other than that) it's looking pretty good.

ill have to try this with the 72V 20 Ah Lithium-Ion Battery and motor i got for free a couple of days ago during our cities spring clean-up days. It came out of an old riding lawnmower. i did a little research and the spec sheet says it makes 9 horsepower. This is gonna be fun...

I am hoping you cannot Pedal it when the power drains as the motor shaft is hard to turn. Planning a freewheel in motor shaft may solve this. Anyways this will be simple electric bike solution.

its speed is very low .. but also you can start with the biggest serrated at the back then shift to the smaller and smaller to get higher speed ... regards

you'd need to put the chain on the freewheel gears on the rear wheel, not the fixed gears on the crank :)

Make sure that the motor you are using doesn't have worm gear . If it have you will not be able to pedal otherwise the gear with break .

People are commenting about the motor being too slow at 12v but you could run this motor at 48v......might not last long but it could be done.

Electric window motors have a built in safety in case someone gets a body part rolled up in the window it will sheer off internally . Also not intended for long run time. No cooling. Nice idea but you need a better electric motor and a speed controller . The drill you stole the battery from would have been a better choice. It was probably variable speed and has cooling fan.
