My friends, tonight we're going to scratchbuild and paint some very simple, but effective diorama accessories - wooden road signs. We're not going to need much - just a couple of plastic oil drums, some styrene sheets, a wire, pewter foil and a bunch of rocks!

Little drop off dish soap in the watered down PVA will get rid of the surface tension and it will flow more easily. That's what I'm using for my terrain builds.

Make a dropper bottle of alcohol and put a drops down first. Then put the diluted glue, it will flow like a dream. Alternately you could put the diluted glue in a dropper and add a drop of dish soap or flow aid. Personally I like the alcohol method.

Night Shift keeps doing these accessories, he'll upgrade soon from scenic bases to full-blown dioramas! Good job on these pieces, they are pretty good! This goes to all modellers! Could anyone recommend some cool subject to me? I am thinking about making a diorama when the exam period starts and I have more free time from uni. (I hate Jungle scenes, too much vegetation, too hard to do with any realism. I love the desert though!)

Nice work, loving the video! A trick I learned from my father (who was a railway modeller) is to add a little dish soap or IPA when watering down PVA for fixing rocks, sand, flock etc. It doesn't affect how the glue sticks, but it breaks down the surface tension so it flows much better.

That good lettering in 1/48 scale is just on a different level...?! Although some might just think this was a "quick and simple build" they couldn't be more wrong because this was some next level shit! You've gotta have some really stable hands for starters, and surely the tongue at the right angle ;) I'm using a different dust method/product, which is an enamel to start with, but the more I see you working with the Wilders textured earth dust the more I want to try it because mine isn't that great, and yours seems so controllable - and it's an acrylic so it doesn't react to OPR or panel liners etc. I'd use a few more colourful synonyms over at smcg to describe how awesome this video was, but here I've gotta play ball so simply - awesome!!! 🤘😁🤘
