The posts supporting the cabin should be braced in both directions - you only have them braced in one. That's important as the spring rainy season approaches, especially if you have a high clay soil. Love your channel.

Loving the Saturday morning uploads Graeme. My new born daughter and I look forward to it every weekend (well at least start an episode together lol) Just a multi-faceted program for all ages. Today we got a bonus lesson on grammar from Graeme “how do you like them apples?” -> “do you like those apples?” Way gooder than Saturday morning cartoons if you ask me.

Well I’ve been pulling 12 hr days for 10 plus days but it was nice to take the time out this evening and watch your progress. Albeit a few days later

also thinking since its rear wheel drive, reversing would allow you to pull the tractor up the hill as apposed to pushing it.... and "bobs your uncle"

About Hardiplank, I personally wouldn’t do it for the following reasons: messy and harder to cut. You will be wearing a respirator the whole time. Flimsier than say LP planks, more likely to snap when putting up longer pieces. If you needed to route around something current on in the future, it will be much more difficult to cut in that hard cement fiber board for what you needed. Id watch some of the Perkins Bros videos, they build in the mountains and always use LP siding (yes, it’s one of their sponsors). I redid a chimney once in hardiplank and I’ll never mess with that stuff again.

Why no video this week

If you use the Hardy board, be sure and use a respirator to protect your lungs from the cement dust. You want to be able to enjoy your cabin for many years to come. Blue makes a good looking roof with shades of gray siding. Looks like you're going to have to call in the Marines to get rid of Rat Boy. I love the progress that you are making. Take care. Vaughn
