later but-- To be fair, Paradox didn't make this game. it was acquired by them for publishing, and like any good paradox acquired game, paradox turned it into nothing but overpriced DLC with no updates to the base game, no bug fixes, and a generally dissatisfied player-base from pre-acquisition. Which is why AA lowkey roasts it at the start of the video LOL

20 USD per day, in a full month of work (no resting days) is about 600 USD per month, which is about 4 times the minimal salary in Argentina :')... that accountant would be filthy rich living in Buenos Aires (I'm from Argentina heh)

The difference being that the cost of rent, food and other necessities is probably a bit lower in Argentina as well... if only because asking more than people have is a good way to ensure a complete lack of customers. There is the danger of a lot of the economy being geared toward providing for the rich while ignoring the people who produce everything, of course, but then that problem also exists in most wealthier countries as well.

Oh man, I just dumped 5 hours into this game last night! What perfect timing. Also, you don't need to sell each log individually. There is an "Export" room that works like the delivery room, but the opposite, which will sell logs and other products for you.

@@jacobhenn1504 Generally speaking, If no one else is capable/able to do said work outside of guard specific things I think the Yellow vest workmen will literally carry dead bodies to herses lol they basically do it all as far as moving items around... so you DON'T need a gardner if I'm not mistaken unless it's changed. I usually have a full roaster of staff, so workmen usually don't have to do any of that. Truck delivery drivers will also unload trucks automatically slowly to prevent back-up in game, and it helps cut back from workmen's jobs. time to exploit!

Honestly, I feel like paradox ruined Prison Architect. They put in their own luncher within Steam which sucks, it constantly bombards you with ads for the DLC if you don't have it, some of the DLC adds hardly anything or stuff that was planned for the base game anyway. It just feels like the EA guide to business. It's a good game but not because of anything they did, inherited then squandered it all away for money off of the backs of others.

As working in a state prison for over 10 years I will say that Admin staff would angrily pace around woth clip boards and some how got congratulated by the commissioner and promoted for line staff doing all the work to make things happen. Pretty solid take on the government

Is it just me or is his voice somewhat similiar to Sseth's voice? Like, slightly less deeper, but... The way ambiguousamphibian plays his games... It's brilliant.
