When you're living in a tiny space (in our case 3 little shipping containers) it's important to get organized so that you can find the stuff you need right when you want it. We are pretty much the opposite of minimalists, we love finding new hobbies, new skills, and all those things come with their own little sets of gear, so for us, it was important to really separate things into categories and find a system that makes it possible to pursue creative projects quickly and easily. There's still a little room for improvement in terms of category sub-organization, but overall these little changes have made a MASSIVE improvement in our life already and its been incredibly rewarding to keep tinkering. I remember those art journal videos vividly. That is where I started watching you both. I was soo inspired by your art journals and traveling. But especially the art journals. That is awesome to become inspired again. You've come a long way sister girl.😇🥰

I think it’s significant that your sense of creative flow is coming after your trip to Colorado. I’m a big advocate of a change of venue, particularly when you get to explore and do different things, spurring creativity when you get home. I’ve been forgetting this in my own life lately, thinking that I just need more discipline, but that on its own never produces that creative flow state for me. It’s been helpful for me to see your vacation from your daily creative work life and your at-home reorganization inspiring you!

Ok, this is kinda crazy: i literally put the finishing touches on my new studio TODAY(feeling the lightning issue ;)). It is so true: energy flows sooo much better! And: I am an Artist and I absolutely know the feeling of not being the one who writes. Be careful, though: It might feel all easy and flowy, but this sort of creative process is more demanding than you would think. Take good care of yourself!

I bought your meditations a few weeks ago and they are so soothing. The background music/sounds, plus Dana's super calming voice, makes it so easy to zone out and get into that meditative space. Whenever my head feels particularly full/cluttered, I love to revisit them. I particularly like that some are for lying down and some for sitting up. It helps me switch, depending on my energy levels. Can't wait for the next collection. Have you considered doing a 7 day series?

Have you read Wintering: The Power of Rest and Retreat in Difficult Times by Katherine May? Some of her chapters are arranged around different sensory inputs that are a focus for refueling, like Light, Hot Water, etc. I think meditations focusing on different sensory inputs, especially natural ones would be great idea. Living as simply as you do, I could imagine that you could bring so much substance to the little things that bring comfort and things that could be easily recognizable by everyone.

It sounds like you are tapping into your higher self, when you describe that you don’t feel like you are the one writing or when leaving your self recordings. You are perhaps creative more easily, because you are meditating, you are connected with nature and you are paying attention to the magical moments of when you first awaken. 🦋🌿🗝️😊

@WildWeRoam_on_tel-egr-am hi there 👋🏼 well, her walk is a little unstable and her last third of her body is lower than usual (in what i can see of it in your videos offcourse). It seems like her legs/hips move ‘too much’. ‘Hip Dysplasia’ is commonly known to affect German Sheperds (due to selective breeding), which means they have more laxitiy in the hips. (For short dogs, this is no problem because the muscles of the legs take it over. For bigger dogs, it can cause pain,..) Freya could be totally okay, but there are some things I would like, as a dogowner myself, to verify with the veterinarian for some professional advice. Take care, lots of love from Belgium 😊
