In this video, I show how to make battery cables by soldering on terminals and how to recycle old battery cables into ground cables.

I like the way you have your tractors lined up and ready for tinkering. Thank you for your video.

Perfect work. How long till you can do anything in the field there? Weather is a mess here we are going back and forth between 20 and 80 degrees (a record high) every few days. If it gets that cold again we will have to have fires in our orchard to save the apples because they have been tricked by the to warm of weather into blossoming. It got so warm our neighbor planted corn because he's crazy, that is done in may here normaly.

We just got a dump of snow. I think it's been too cold of a spring to be seeding too early. And they said we're warming the earth?

The old gal sounds really good. When I’m doing cable ends like that I try to melt solder right into the cable strands first if I can and then do just like you did. Or I’ll heat the cable end while it’s inserted until the solder melts into it and then fill it right up like you did. I don’t know if it’s the right way or not but I’ve done it like that for a long time. Soldering is definitely the right fix. Is the rosin core the same as acid core?

As long as it works, you did right. Rosin core is different than acid core. I prefer it.

Does That. Tractor. Run. On. Gas. And. Kerosene. Looks. Like. It. On. The. Manifold

They used low grade distillate as a rule in those. You're right, that is the distillate manifold. This tractor hasn't burned distillate since the 1950s.
