The ballistic performance is very impressive. I could definitely see me owning some of these if I were a police, security or military person. I think boxer style would offer even more protection. This area of the body has killed a lot of people when a stray shot has severed an artery. Anything modern companies can do to stop that, is appreciated. Great video, as usual, Scott family.

I'd by lying if I didn't say my legs were defensively crossed each time those front shots were made. I was pleasently surprised they actually worked as intended, and really surprised they stopped the 00 Buck so close. Fantastic video, looking forward to more weird experiments.

We wore something like this in Afghanistan. It wasn't to stop bullets though, but to stop fragments from getting up in those massive veins up in there. It took some getting used to. In the beginning was hot AF and the sweating was crazy in the beginning it felt like someone had emptied a water bottle down there. It was a 2-layer system. We had some thick "kevlar" tights on the inside and what I can best describe as a soft armor diaper on the outside.

USSS (Secret Service) uses it. It was designed for them. They wanted a pistol cartridge that didn't care about armor or cover. They have SMGs and sidearms in that cal.

Definitely not a real product. This was just a special project for Scott. We did use the same ballistic package that we use for our vests though, that's why it worked so well :)

I have a pair that are made in great Britain. However, they seem to be meant to wear over your existing underwear but they fit like a diaper. And they’re camouflage. They hook onto the plate carrier. Level three Kevlar inside. Was only 20 bucks on RTG The best part is the mesh drawstring bag that it comes in. Not sure if I’ll ever wear them interesting item.

Even if they're able to stop bullets, any sort of body armor still transfers the energy if the impact into the person wearing it. So if you're shot in the nards, it's still going to drop you regardless of whether or not your junk is still intact. One word: OOOOOWWWWW!
