I think the most important point is the "if you're pressing buttons, you can't block." Which ends in punishes usually...😅

great list. very important "pet move" to add to #4... Anti-Airs! special moves are great but you gotta know all your character's normal anti-airs, even the unconventional ones. for some its standing jab or standing medium. Flash kick is strong, but I have about 3-5 anti airs with guile at a buttons notice

@@YohDood yea haha just giving you a hard time. I don’t even own one. I have been sitting on the sidelines contemplating a sf6 purchase. Your videos are very good and def I will repeat my comment from one of you other vids (you might have responded to it already)… def do a vid on fighting game terminology for sure!

@@YohDood PC masterrace you guessed right lol. Yea I am so used to buying fighting games when they are half off for super turbo ultra edition with all characters and shiz but people say sf6 the greatest thing since third strike… I also have a steam deck so could practice and lab during down time during work lol. Not sure if I can watch the years go by without getting practice. Thanks about Discord. Maybe one day I will tilt and get on I just still view discord as the facebook of voip and it really bothers me that everyone became a part of it (you know data privacy). You channel is destined to blow up man!

I don't mash buttons, but I have a weird tendency to just kinda mash a single button if I need to press it multiple times. Like, if I need to press a button twice for an attack string, sometimes I'll just press it five times very quickly until the string is over. I'm not sure why I do this, but I think it started with my offense in Sekiro, which is weird, since I do single button pressed for all of the other FromSoftware games.

Multi-tapping buttons isn’t exactly a bad idea. It can lead to execution errors but it can also help with certain attack windows. Maybe we’ll make a more in depth video in the future in regarding to multi tapping, negative Edge, and Plinking in Street Fighter 6.

@@YohDood Yeah, I think I mainly use it when I'm struggling with the timing of something, so it's easier to just mash that button, as I know I'll hit the timing, that way. I just dislike that I do it unconsciously, as I prefer to do things on purpose. Whoops Also, unrelated, but I appreciate you responding to all the comments on your videos, especially if someone is struggling with something.

@@YohDood Ha. Sorry, I was partly joking. I'm playing through World Tour using Modern Controls and just got to the part where Drive blocks are introduced. Try as I might I just can't seem to get them to work, and combos are a dead loss. I'm enjoying it, but I'm under no illusions in regards to how bad I am. 😅

@JoeDouglas everybody has to start somewhere man! In my latest video I talked about Basic Universal Combos. An easy introduction for that specific aspect of the game if you’d like some help finding a baseline to start with!
