Humans are not meant to be alone, solitary confinement is literally a torture technique. We are a tribe/ herd species. It's not a lack of self love or self esteem to want to be part of the group/ tribe and have deep social connections in alignment with our biological nature. The reason she's crying for a man is because in our society that is the encouraged solution for this loneliness issue. "Get married, have kids, then you won't be lonely" which is a lie especially for women. Men die before women on average and your kids leave to start their own families, meaning the family you built for 20-30 years is programmed to self destruct, leaving you as the woman isolated and alone regardless. A lot of people play hot potato with elderly parents passing them between the siblings homes or they put them in nursing homes. This is the tragedy caused by the breaking down of the tribe (our true natural arrangement), to the extended/ multi-generational family, which then broke down again into the nuclear family (mom, dad & kids), which broke down into the single parent household and now even the tragedy of orphans in the foster care system or the elderly alone and isolated, like this woman is experiencing. All this grief would be avoided if we stayed in the tribe. The elderly are looked after, valued and a core part of tribe life. No isolation, days of not talking to anyone or going to the grocery store just for 1 minute of human interaction, this is beyond sad. Swapping the tribe for a man won't fill the void. Rebuilding the tribe may take generations. For now she needs to make friends with other woman like her or she'll likely get absolutely robbed blind by a man that will steal her retirement funds because she is signalling she is vulnerable and desperate and so many con men will want to take advantage. For even 1 genuine man they'll be 100 con men. Maybe with other women like her (same financial and life situation) they can live together, help each other, laugh together and she won't feel like living is meaningless.

Under what conditions though? I have ONLY known abusive men in my life. Every relationship I ever had resulted in pain, usary, psychological trauma, and regret. The vast majority of men are simply not capable of love, so why bother wanting it? No matter how much I work, I know I'm never gonna be a millionaire, so why focus on wanting it so bad I feel like dying every day? When I realized that the majority of men were demonic turds, I walked away from dating. It's been 5 years. It was hard, but I learned how to not want it anymore, I learned how to love myself and meet my own needs and not hope for love anymore. I don't feel like dying every day anymore. It's the WANT of men that is killing women. Men use that want against us - so women need to destroy that want, then men can't use it to hurt us anymore. Best thing I ever did for myself was stop wanting men. My life is far more stable, calm and healthy now. It doesn't matter how beautiful, thin, nice or giving you are to them, they are going to screw you over. Look at how the most beautiful women in the world ended up: Marilyn Monroe, Betty Paige, Tura Santana, Eartha Kitt, etc - these women were all used and abused to no end. Women are insane to think they can find love with a group who have actively been killing, maiming, abusing, selling and raping us for thousands of years.

Once you realize that most relationships with men are not good and that 90% of them have an expiration date, your desire for one will start to diminish. Most men are energy vampires who increase your stress and take away your peace. Almost every woman I know has lost herself in a relationship or marriage and was worst off once it all ended. The understanding that my hope for a loving relationship is mostly just a delusion built of fantasy is what keeps me happy to be alone. Such a small percentage of men are actually capable of giving the love that most women want.

I have a wonderful man in my life & when I got sick he asked me what I needed. I went on about how my son & brother had this and that and were fine. He stopped me dead in my tracks and said, “No, what do YOU need?” I couldn’t even answer him bc the truth is, I don’t spend a lot of time thinking about my needs. He understood and just said, “Ok, well when you figure it out, let me know so I can bring it to you.” That moment was sooooo eye opening for me. He was right. I have to think about and move in the direction of MY needs. Probably the most truly caring things a man has ever said to me. 🙏🏾

I think she might have never been in a relationship. I think most people here assume she might have romantic experienced with men. She might have been overlooked her whole life.
