In today's video, we go over the complete installation process of the CA Tuned Off-Road hidden winch mount on my 2024 Subaru Outback Wilderness. This product has been on my list for a while now and getting a chance to work with the guys at D and R motors to get this done was awesome. Looks great (from what I could see). I tend to start the video thinking: "Heck, yeah - I want to do that!" Then once the metal work and/or plastic trimming starts, I'm more like: "Nah, dude - I'm good." I'll have to settle living vicariously through your installs for most of these, though the brush bar and lights may be worthwhile. Thanks for the great content!

LOL yeah, I do the same when I watch other people's videos. I would use a shop for this install just because of the tedious items that most people don't have the tools for or desire to get into.

@@roamingwithjosh I've been wanting to install this on my 22 ever since you first posted about it but after seeing the install I'll wait. i figured I could do it myself because ARS says "Installation is a breeze with our all-in-one kit" on their website. But maybe with the 22 you don't have to saw through metal and cut off plastic tabs? is that just a 2024 issue? thanks for all the vids, love them!

Did you cut the 'gold' cover pieces and install the bar through them? Also, can you add d-rings to that bar? If so, how?

I did. You can't add D rings to the bar. The bar becomes your tow point with a soft shackle.

Would this winch system work on non OBW? That bottom gaps looks the same.

Would this affect the deployment of airbags in the event of an accident?

I couldn't tell you for certain because I have never been in an accident with the bumper bar.
