Nah I'm a student pilot and originally I wanted to join BA due to the reputation but changed my mind after seeing how they treat their pilots and employees in general where as easyjet have one awards for the best workplace,I'd rather get payed less but love the place I work at for 60 years than hate it but get payed like 5k more,plus easyjet all about short haul even though BA do it too they have a small regional area where as easyjet entire system is short domestic hops

@@amenchoudhury8036 So to be a First Officer, you need a minimum of 1500hours. Is that correct? A PPL you need 50 and CPL 250. How do you get the other 1250 hours once you have a CPL if you can't really work?

jack mitchell I personally wouldn’t go down the university route as it is not a requirement, however with the current situation it could be wise to have a good secure plan B in place in case this career does not work out as well as it could for you. I also now believe CAE is the only training provider for EasyJet’s part sponsored scheme, however training providers such as L3 and Leading Edge should be able to assist placing you with interviews after your training has completed.

The cheapest one is 90000 but is terrible. CAE is 100000 but you don't get accommodation.

£110 000 for course, accommodation and ground transportation £92 000 for only course

EasyJet cost 120,000 that’s with the cae but does not include the £180 to do the maths, physics test etc...

Not nessasarliy. Look at the modular flying route. Could end up costing between £40k - 50k and you can spread it over years ! Have a look.
