CALCULATING FOR BASS! - baffle board placement

Today I'm measuring for our baffle board placement! Our van box will be a 4th order clamshell design. We are hoping to fit twelve 15" subwoofers!

If it were for a customer he would have had it done a long time ago, he’s funding the build, he doesn’t contract any part of it out he has a business to run and a family to be there for, some of y’all are clearly brain dead and think that he has time to work on the van 24/7.. which is not the case.. if you don’t like it, don’t watch it.. simple as that

to be loud @DOUG the sealed part is the 1 of the ratio and the ported section is the x 2 dude. Put the magnets in the ported section (inverted in the sealed part) so they can cool better and you can smell any issues off rip. . and depth on the sealed chamber is not such an issue. Long story short to keep it simple the sealed part should be 1/3 of the available space and the ported part 2/3

Ratios don’t matter if he’s going for daily demo build, there is no magic ratio. I’ve seen 1:1’s play louder than 4:1’s, depth of chamber matters a lot too because it starts acting like a big long port and lowers resonance, there’s lots of factors that go into this

i couldve told you the daily vlog was worthless, i wait i already did. the thing that kept me here for the last 9 years was the black and white narrations... everytime things get a bit boring the narrating and jokes would start. that was a great formula. you just needed to upload 5 times a week to grow the channel. when you went to once a month i thought you were nearly done on youtube...

Given your measurements wouldn't the sealed sides be close to 16ft^3 without dividing into individual chambers? I'm not good at math, but it seems about right.
