Modern Warfare is the best...the engine they used to run MW is insane

One think I liked about mw is that after a grenade went off you can hear the fences and the shipments shaking and also head the chunks of concrete or dirt come into contact with it, it makes it way more realistic

To be fair, Vanguard has its own place. It has destructible environments, fun gameplay, crazy customization (ahem 10 attachments, absolute overkill but i love it), lots of choices, etc. MW also has its own place from aesthetics. Insane attention to detail, realistic feeling, etc.

Mw is amazing in its engine and is the winner so far, but I love his vanguard has more action and how the walls breaks. Besides the realistic look they’re both really good, but vanguard has a new feel and that’s what makes cod fun and alive, the maps are amazing and it has a cool feel shooting through the doors and glass. The garand also is satisfying and realistic as they reload and save the right amount of ammo. All in end, it’s cool to have the screen and layout show all 3 games. That means you have 3 doffing quick cod options and i think that’s awesome! Sometimes you wanna play zombies or modern warefare 2019

mw2019 was one of the best cods ever. after giving us that, our expectations were way too high for CW and VG. they just dont compare.

6:30 fun fact, here both have the same realism in this comparison, a frag grenade proyectiles would definetly trespass your body, but not cut it in half, and a c4 without anything sharp that could hurt further definetly would wound your corpse, but most of it would be internally because muscles are pretty flexible and external damage would be caused because of the heat or because the floor exploded and damaged your body

The tactical reload on the kar is vanguard is a bit more realistic since you only the missing amount of bullets in the gun while mw2019 always puts 3 on Tactical reloads even if you fired 1 shot

Idk the reason I liked mw better is because vanguard textures and visuals felt like I was playing a cartoon 1st person shooter and mw’s texture and visuals looked deatailed, realistic and clean

It´s a great engine. The photorealistic details (in the gun) are the best in a FPS game.

I went back to MW 2019 two weeks ago and I’m mid blown WHY did I delete this game…of course cuz of its file size but it’s so worth it to go back. It’s god tier S+ like BO2, WAW, MW2 back in the day and it’s still in OUR modern era of games NOW! sooo STOP being brainwashed and forcing yourself to play every new cod cuz its “new” and play the best games we have now especially when the new cod is bad/meh. I regret looking back and not playing BO2, WAW and MW2 more when it was in its peak time but we moved on for the lesser games like jet pack cod and the meh games like Ghost, MW3, BO3, WW2.

They both look amazing. While I’m loving VG and playing it all the time, MW will always have a special place in my heart.

I mean, the shooting soft surfaces (barrels, doors, windows) that’s a Vanguard thing. I don’t think that discredits MW’s attention to detail in the slightest. I’m sure MW2022 (if that’s the next game, most likely will be) will have that touch as well!

Call of duty modern warfare popular since first modern warfare come out at 2007. I remember those glorious days of call of duty. The best cod ever. I play cod since first cod was released. But modern warfare changed the game. And yes !! Modern warfare 2019 improve and the best cod yet.

They look almost the same, but MW has better weapons animation, gun sound, and also looks more realistic, but vanguard is a good game without a doubt.

Activision knows that mw2019 engine is the best engine at this time maked, and it made warzone using it. (i know vanguard uses mw2019 engine, but its not the same, compare mw and wz)

Both are detailed with different focuses on Detail. Like in Vanguard the Smoke from a Grenade Explosion disappears quicker than MW, but the deflating tires in Vanguard are more realistic than MW. With MW the tires just drop down, where as in Vanguard they slowly go down. Also the Explosions in Vanguard seem bigger, which for me is great because I love things that go BIG BOOM. MW though has a more realistic look to it depending on what causes the vehicles to explode. Vanguard it seems anything that blows the car up causes the same size explosion, where as in MW a Grenade causes the car to have a typical explosion, where as an RPG makes it a bigger explosion. So they seemed to have focused more on Different things for detail in both games. I also love the way the Ww2 guns look in Vanguard compared MW, the Kar98 actually looks like a Kar98 while the MW looks very new and touched up for American Use. Over all, both games are Beautiful, and despite being set in Ww2 with a Ww2 overlay on the game, Vanguard still looks great. Even Cold War has some impressive attention to detail despite it being made within 6 Months. Cannot wait for Cod 2022.

If Vanguard's lighting/textures were improved it would top MW19, but so far the WW2 aesthetic makes it look muddy.

I really enjoy both of those games. Personally, my favorite one is Vanguard so far cause i prefer WW2 games. Sledgehammer really did a great job for both games.

I loved modern warfare 2019. I would still be playing it now but it's overrun with cheaters. I cant wait for modern warfare 2 hopefully in 2022. Loved every second of modern warfare vanguard can keep me busy until then.

Vanguard dead body : Body parts are torn into pieces or blown up when killed. MW2019 dead body : Stays the same but has an insane ragdoll flips when blown up.

Yeah I mean it's crazy the difference is in what an extra year of development can do I mean literally ahead of its time the game is even gorgeous on base PS4 the details like there is so many freaking details he actually don't even notice like they really really did a good job with modern warfare I was playing battlefield for a while exclusively cuz that is an excellent game just like Call of duty but I'll put a lot into 2019 and I have the latest titles and I just hit it right out of the park with modern warfare it is an amazing game runs good it looks good feels good gunplay is just awesome the attention to detail well not perfect is as perfect as you would want guns and Call of duty

Gotta say, I really hate how the recoil looks. Super bouncy and it honestly hurts to watch for me. MW is super smooth and natural while VAN is like CW where it goes everywhere.

I dunno, the lighting in Vangaurd seems... odd. It's like they didnt tweak it or anything, making stuff look shiny or dull. Or maybe it's just the fact they reused 2017 assets. Either way looks, feels, and sounds wrong

Modern Warfare brought us a hope of future titles. ( I'm editing this. I mean games that gave us the same feel but better like the next titles should be) They should've been expansions on the same game. I still find myself playing the campaign over and trying to find matches online. It is superior craftsmanship and attention to detail that sets it apart from all this fucking junk released afterwards in it's name

MW 2019 graphics are just insane. In 2024 It looks better than a lot of current triple A games and of course 1000 times better than current CoDs.
