Soft teaching doesn't mean it is true, why did Rabbi Tovia left out Daniel 12: 1-2 it is about the afterlife and it give a description on the afterlife; is your name written on the Book of Life and are you going to everlasting life or everlasting shame and disgrace. Rabbi Tovia purposely left the book of Daniel and he make seem everyone is going to heaven; do your own research and read scriptures and let God teach you.

Yes ari.....Jesus stated that there would be "a restoration of ALL THINGS" and that would include the earth being restored back to its original garden-like state as well as the restoration (resurrection) of deserving humankind from the grave into that paradise. No wonder the Jewish pharisees had him put to death, because the message he preached was a message of hope that they did not offer and it drew the crowds to him. They were jealous of him and hated him and through the past 2,000 plus years, the clergy of the churches of Christendom as well as the Jewish clergy, have continued to teach the people to hate that message.

@Abraham Mani Sorry pal, but your "God is great and God is good" message of hell and damnation to the masses isn't going to work with me...and likely isn't going to work with anyone else on here either. Also, corruptly twisting Jesus' message into a "fire and brimstone" message brings reproach on not just Jesus, but also on his Father's Holy Name. Whatever you do....don't quit your day job!

God does not come in pieces. Our soul is the life force brought into being by Command of God and placed into us humans till the time of our death , after which it goes again towards God,s custody. Our nefesh ( mind= personality) goes into an intermission state till the Time of Resurrection and Judgment when body + ruach + nefesh unite again. Bless you!

Apparently it's also found in Torah, first. It may also be the reason no one recognized Jesus, he had to tell them. @Abraham Mani You know nothing about Jewish thought. If you're going to climb on the back of Judaism for your validity and then tell them they have it all wrong ....it means you have no clue WHAT or WHY Jews believe as they do. Accept Jesus or spend eternity in hell sounds like extortion... not a gift and certainly not grace. In Judaism, all who live a moral life will be worthy of the world to come. It doesn't matter what religion, or no religion. It matters how you behave. How you treat others. I can believe any doctrine but if it doesn't make me a better person... what's the point? Fear of Hell? If you ask most Christians why they are Christians, if truthful will say...bc I don't want to go to hell. Fear in the motivator.

I'm familiar with all the literary references the rabbi bases his arguement on here, but I'll never accept the idea the the consciousness of animals like dogs just disappear after death, yet the human consciousness is eternal. Either we both transcend our mortal timeline or we both end with the end of our bodies. To differentiate ourselves is wish-thinking based on no logic whatsoever.

Animals have a nefesh/animal soul, as do humans. Only humans have a neshama which is the spark of HaShem that He Breathed into us. We're not told about animals and their souls because they don't have free will...only humans have free will which is way we are "made in His Image". Animals operate on instinct only and angels have one job to do and...whoosh...they go back to shamayim. Only humans can choose right from wrong.

Yes, the soul goes back after the death of the body, but after a period of rest, it is reincarnated into another new body. This goes on for thousands of incarnations until the soul is 100% cleansed when it gains emancipation and returns no more.

@Abraham Mani Jesus preach to the 4000, Jesus preach to the 5000, yet Jesus NEVER preach any single SERMON to the multitudes of jewish people telling them he will DIE FOR THEIR SIN......However Jesus did believe SALVATION comes from OBEYING God's LAW (LUKE 10 :25-28) God simply states this as a basic principle that EACH MAN dies in his own sins ; The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not bear the guilt of the father, nor the father bear the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself. But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.(Ezekiel 18:21)

The question was what happens to "you" after you die, meaning you should have made it clear which part is the real you - the body that goes in the ground (or wherever), or the soul that goes up. Also i wouldn't have made that "so" short: you should have elaborated a bit about all the possibilities of paradise, hell, כף הקלע, reincarnation, and whatever else possibilities there might be.
@brooklyn7722
@brooklyn7722 3 жыл бұрын
I was wondering about reincarnation. I've heard from other jewish rabbi and spiritual people that we reincarnate. If this is true......... I don't want to come back
@dumbledor22
@dumbledor22 3 жыл бұрын
@@brooklyn7722 people tend to way over simplify what happens after death. There's no one size fits all really: Judaism teaches that there are about a million and one possibilities and options really, like paradise, hell, reincarnation, becoming a wandering ghost 👻 roaming around the world - this earth or anywhere else in the universe. And even for example in reincarnation there are categories of what type, for example you might not even merit to come back as a human being again, but as an animal, plant 🌿 or even inanimate object, then again the question is - for example - which species of animal. What exactly will happen and where you'll go, is decided by God, purely based on the situation of your merits versus your sins. How big they are and what type of merits, and what type of sins, because God always punishes and rewards measure for measure, that is the consequence always makes sense according to "your" action. So asking what will happen after "you" die, no one really can give you the answer, Judaism can just tell you the main possibilities and options, because there "is no" one answer to everyone; god decides everything on a case by case basis. But Judaism can give you the main categories of what "might" happen.

Where in the Torah is proof of the resurrection of the dead? It is found in Numbers 18:28, where it is stated "and you must give *from it* Hashem's portion to Aaron the priest". The harvest that it is referring to is the harvest of the land of Israel. That is the only place in the world where the commandment to give from it is applicable. However, Aaron did not step foot in Israel. He died on Mount Hor. Therefore, since there is no lie in the Torah, in the future the Israelites WILL GIVE Hashem's portion of the harvest of the land of Israel to Aaron, because he will be resurrected at that time, as the verse states.

Ziggy Death Chara Choppel Job 14:13-15 "O that in the grave you would conceal me, that you would hide me until your anger passes by, THAT YOU WOULD SET A TIME LIMIT FOR ME AND REMEMBER ME! If a man dies, can he live again? I WILL WAIT ALL THE DAYS OF MY COMPULSORY SERVICE UNTIL MY RELIEF COMES. YOU WILL CALL AND I WILL ANSWER YOU. YOU WILL LONG FOR THE WORK OF YOUR HANDS." In agreement with Ecclesiastes, Job also stated (Job 14:22) "He feels pain only while he is still in his flesh; he mourns only while he is still alive." This being the case, how can a person be tormented in some "hellfire" when he has no pain or feelings when he's not in the flesh or is not still alive? Job clearly believed in the resurrection from the grave and tells us that Jehovah God LONGS to bring back the dead (the work of his hands) at the resurrection.

@@cyndephillipshohbein8232 I appreciate what you are saying, however, there was no shouting meant or intended. The capitalization was used to express the main points brought out in those verses of scripture. Also, there is no argument needed. It is stated right there in scripture plainly and clearly that Job's hope was that he would be resurrected back from the dead. It shows what a loving God Jehovah is that he will remember us and grant life back to those who die loyal to him and who live decent lives. Death is our worse enemy and we have all lost loved ones to death at some time during our lifetime. What a beautiful hope we have that God has promised that he will resurrect these ones back to life and we will welcome them back from the grave. In fact, there are several actual resurrections recorded in scripture including 3 performed by Jesus Christ and the following by Elijah and Elisha: 1Kings 17:17-24 "After these things, the son of the woman who owned the house fell sick, and his sickness became so severe that he stopped breathing. 18 At this she said to E·liʹjah: “What do you have against me, O man of the true God? Have you come to remind me of my guilt and to put my son to death?” 19 But he said to her: “Give me your son.” Then he took him from her arms and carried him up to the roof chamber, where he was staying, and he laid him on his own bed. 20 He called out to Jehovah: “O Jehovah my God, are you also bringing harm to the widow with whom I am staying by putting her son to death?” 21 Then he stretched himself out over the child three times and called out to Jehovah: “O Jehovah my God, please, let this child’s life come back into him.” 22 Jehovah listened to E·liʹjah’s request, and the life of the child came back into him, and he revived. 23 E·liʹjah took the child and brought him down from the roof chamber into the house and gave him to his mother; and E·liʹjah said: “See, your son is alive.” 24 At that the woman said to E·liʹjah: “Now I know that you truly are a man of Gods and that Jehovah’s word in your mouth is truth.” 2Kings 4:32-37 "When E·liʹsha came into the house, the boy was lying dead on his bed. 33 He went in and closed the door behind them both and began to pray to Jehovah. 34 Then he got up on the bed and lay down on the child and put his own mouth on the boy’s mouth, his own eyes on his eyes, and his own palms on his palms and kept bent over him, and the child’s body started to grow warm. 35 He walked back and forth in the house, and he got up on the bed and bent over him again. The boy sneezed seven times, after which he opened his eyes. 36 E·liʹsha now called Ge·haʹzi and said: “Call the Shuʹnam·mite woman.” So he called her and she came in to him. Then he said: “Pick up your son.” 37 And she came in and fell at his feet and bowed down to the ground before him, after which she picked up her son and went out." How do you think these women felt when they received their sons back from the dead? How do you think we will feel when we also receive sons and daughters, mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters and husbands and wives back from the dead? Jehovah loves us and he knows our innermost thoughts and feelings and he wants what's good for us. This resurrection of our loved ones back from the dead is his promise to us and a part of our future inheritance.

@@ronashman8463 In the Torah the word “Beast” is often referring to Gentiles. For example when Adam named the animals it’s stated that none were suitable to mate with because mating with Gentiles is prohibited or do you think that The Creator was considering mating Adam with a real beast? Christ called Gentiles “dogs and swine” The beasts (Gentiles) were created before Adam and that’s where Cains wife came from. As for scriptures: Jonah 3:8 (Actual Beasts don’t wear sackcloth) Daniel 7:12 (Actual Beasts never had dominion over the earth) Gentiles had dominion because they were created before Adam and their dominion was taken away by Adam who had God’s breath (soul) in him. To give up the breath of life (Holy Spirit is the witness for the Ge:2 version of creation as seen through the eyes of Adam. Every version of 'flesh' has that same breath of life in them and it goes back to where it came from. That is the 3rd heaven in the Bible, Mount Sion is the angels promised new heaven and it is the location of the Great White Throne event where most of mankind is woken up from their dreamless sleep. The one resurrected for the 1,000 years are when the first people are woken up since the OT Saints that were resurrected with Jesus. (they would have been awake all the time Jesus was in the grave) The Re:20:4 are when the 1st of that resurrection takes place, Re:20:5 is part of that same evens. Some as soon as possible and others as late as possible. The 12 Tribes are part of the ASAP and most Gentiles fit the last group that is gathered. Combined that is all the children of Adam and Eve. (the ones the Seas give up are the 6 fingered giants, they are saved because their mothers were 5 fingered people like Eve) It can be argued that all 'other flesh' created in Ge:1 and said to be 'after his kind' would have to be referencing these beings who are probably old enough to the parents of God and the Holy Spirit. The 'other flesh' was created like it was in honour of them so when God started killing them because of Satan's sin it not a small deal. Neither is all the other deaths that came after that were due to sin. The NT changed the Abel sacrifice to Cain's offering as that is thanking God for the food we eat. Acts:10 made all flesh food with the rule that you could not eat food that died as part of a religions festival, such as the original Passover meal. Today making unleaven bread (from scratch) and making red wine is something each home could do while killing a lamb you have raised for a full year is simple impossible for all but a handful of farmers. (they will not kill something they have been given dominion ever, most would die protecting them from any/all dangers that come their way. (if there was not a strong bond the sacrifice was for nothing as the emotions are missing) Ec:9:10: Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest. Da:11 is just about the Beast's 42 months, the last verse is referencing the 7 vials from Re:16 being poured out as suggested by the way Re:11 ends. The Re:20:4 resurrections take place as the last event of the same day the two witnesses are resurrected, that is what these verse are referencing as they are part ofg the same passage. Da:11:45: And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him. Da:12:1-3: And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. Re:20:4-5: And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Re:10:4-9: And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not. And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer: But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets. And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth. And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey. The ones called 'the rest' are the subject of Hebrews:12 as that is Judgment Day, for them it is a time of chastisement and forgiveness as indicated by them being the 2nd group in Re:7. Since there is dominion over 'other flesh' if you make your home outside of New Jerusalem there has to be a resurrection of the other flesh as well. God would resurrect them all rather than a few, what is needed is New Jerusalem to land on this earth and then 'the rest' taken to different stars where they would begin to build their eternal homes. Being immortal they do not need food, other flesh will always need food to remain alive so there has to be some pastures ready for them and that process will be the same as this earth went through in Ge:1 (Eden as a whole planet) and Ge:2 which would be where the home city will be located on each world. The Book of Life gets a name entered at conception. Lu:12:6-7: Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows. This chapters covers a vast swath of time as it is a list of things that will happen in the order given. This has to be when Isa:65 new earth verses are in full swing. Isa:11:6: The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. Isa:11:1: And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: Seed of Eve from Ge:3:15. the 2nd woman in Re:12 is Mary, the mother of Jesus. The pure language that was lost at the Tower of Babble will return at the start of the 1,000 year reign. The only water on earth duringt the 1,000 years is the river from Eze:47 Isa:11:15-16: And the LORD shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his mighty wind shall he shake his hand over the river, and shall smite it in the seven streams, and make men go over dryshod. And there shall be an highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt. Death will be like the sleeping Lazarus rather than the rich man in hell. That means you do not get to look around the angels new home before they get there. God was comforting Job with some knowledge that he (and all the ones Satan killed) would come back from the grave and life would go on as usual. Wrath in this case is the fire at the end of the 1,000 years rather than Jesus melting Satan's Babylon. There is no other flesh alive on earth when that wrath comes as that would mean they end up in the fiery lake with fallen angels. Job:14:10-17: But man dieth, and wasteth away: yea, man giveth up the ghost, and where is he? As the waters fail from the sea, and the flood decayeth and drieth up: So man lieth down, and riseth not: till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep. O that thou wouldest hide me in the grave, that thou wouldest keep me secret, until thy wrath be past, that thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me! If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come. Thou shalt call, and I will answer thee: thou wilt have a desire to the work of thine hands. For now thou numberest my steps: dost thou not watch over my sin? My transgression is sealed up in a bag, and thou sewest up mine iniquity.

Dogs have relatively short lifetimes so that we are not easily influenced to use them to replace humans. We are all within a test. Human interaction is very important. Ignoring human beings, and hiding from them while clinging to a dog....like many seem to try to do, is not helping you within this test no matter how much more enjoyable the dogs are than people.

This is the main thrust of Yahshua/Jesus Christ's teaching. If we follow righteous teaching we upbuild within us a righteous spirit from the righteous energy that Almighty God Yhwh/Jehovah used to create the entire universe out of. In its purest form it is invisible and undetectable ...but when it comes together as it must by way of 'The Grand Unification of the Four Universal Field-Forces' it becomes very visible scientifically, righteously, emotionally, and eternally...and it's all thanks to our our Deity.

Let leave Christianity, accept a religion which stands on Adam, Noah, Abraham alaihimus salam's principle and you will find Islam is alone standing on it after that jews standing on it a little bit, but christians totally believing in a idol worshipper's way. In 2020 christians will add some more verses in Bible claiming Jesus incarnate in Paul, in 2025, god incarnate in Hitler then In 2030 churches will became temples filled with millions god and goddesses. Life after life (after death) is very ill defined in Judaism. And as far as a bodily resurrection (in which our bodies re-fabricate and reanimate), it leaves many questions, like, what happens to Jews who were burned in crematoria at Auschwitz. And what about society? Cars, homes, infrastructure,.. -is all this obliterated, along with the need to work for a living? What does a person do to pass his/her time for eternity, which is to say, how is life reset to conform to a post messianic reality? Are the laws of physics and the impending heat death of the universe put on hold? Many questions but the Rabbi filled the time talking about Doggie's? 🤨 🐕 🤔

why people complicate the issue. when you die you go to your grave and your body decompose and return back to its basic chemical elements. on the day of resurrection, God construct you back and bring you to life again. anybody who is talking about spirit and where it goes, is lying because nobody knows what spirit is.

nobody knows what Rauch is., but the closest thing to Rauch is a form of energy that can power biological systems. I am not saying I know its nature, but that is the closest thing to Rauch. when you die, this "form of energy" cease dwelling inside your body. Think of computer motherboard connected to electrical source but the inside circuits are damaged as a result no current will be inside that computer and the computer will be dead. Rauch has no identity, same like electricity that power the computer. What make my computer different from yours are the programs that are installed in it, not the electricity that power it, i.e. What really matters in all this is the body not the Rauch. When you die the body will disappear return to its state before you were born, then God will bring it back, connect it to the energy source "Rauch", and judge it for what was installed inside it. (think of the computer again)

Yes , there is Ruach inside the body of animals and plants...why do you think they are different from Humans and have no Ruach? Also, God never said he created mankind in his image or Ruach, this idea came from Rabbis. Genesis is not a book from God, it was written by some Rabbi long time ago.

Yes, but the Torah you are reading is not the original Torah. The original Torah is just one book with 30 -40 pages and it was lost. Nobody knows where is it now.. if you have doubt about what I said, ask old testament scholar, not a Rabbi... he will tell you the Torah you are reading is written by men hundreds of years after Moses.

Man was never promised Heaven, we are told that there will be a new Earth. Earth was given to man originally, and the new Earth will be inherited by justified man and ruled by God. Heaven is for the angels. And hell is the grave, not the final judgement of the wicked, that is' called the lake of fire...it's not the same thing as hell. Further still there is really no point for a resurrection of the just and unjust if souls which have died are already somewhere now. That would be two judgments right? Confusion... The problem is that traditional teaching taught continuously in error causes nothing but more confusion and God is not the author of confusion.

I think the heaven & hell thing came from Greek & Roman ideas infussed into Christianity. But if one isn't quite what they should be (in Judaism) they do get put into a place for 11 months after death to purify the soul that is painful so the male relatives say kadish prayer for 11 months after the loved one's death. Only a very wicked person gets completely punished forever like Hitler (shmak shemo).

Can somebody tell this clown that your "soul" and your "spirit" are two different and separate things ? And that your "soul" (body) can and will DIE ! ( Ezekiel 18:20 ) And that your "spirit" (MIND or consciousness) can NEVER die ! You may also want to mention that his "God" that created our "soul" ( Genesis 2:7 ) is NOT the "Father" of Christ (Jesus).

Answer: God required animal sacrifices both to provide temporary forgiveness of sins and to foretell the perfect and perfect sacrifice of Jesus Christ (Leviticus 4:35, 5:10). Animal sacrifice is an important theme throughout Scripture because "... without shedding of blood there is no redemption" (Hebrews 9:22). Then why don't we sacrifice animals today? The animal sacrifices ended because Jesus Christ was the last and perfect sacrifice. John the Baptist acknowledged this when he saw Jesus coming to be baptized and said, "Behold the Lamb of God, which takes away the sin of the world!" (John 1:29). You may be wondering, "Why animals?", "What did they do wrong?" This is exactly the idea: because the animals did nothing wrong, they died in place of the one who brought them as a sacrifice. Jesus Christ also did nothing wrong, but He gave Himself willingly to die for the sins of the world (1 Timothy 2: 6). Jesus Christ took our sins upon Himself and died in our place. In conclusion, the sacrifices of animals were commanded by God for man to experience the forgiveness of sin. The animals served as a substitute, that is, they died in the place of the sinner, but only temporarily, and this is the reason why more and more sacrifices were needed. The animal sacrifices ended with Jesus Christ. He was the last substitute who sacrificed Himself once and for all (Hebrews 7:27) and is now the only Mediator between God and men (1 Timothy 2: 5). Animal sacrifices foretold Christ's sacrifice for us. The only reason animal sacrifices were able to bring forgiveness of sins was Christ - who was to sacrifice Himself for our sins, thus bringing the forgiveness that animal sacrifices could only illustrate and foretell.

That's a nice explanation. It's wrong though. Human sacrifices are an abomination in the eyes of God. They can't be compared to animal sacrifices. Jesus pbuh didn't die. He isn't God.

Aisha Arshad Alam Imagine a brick which is made out of clay, water and fire. God or the Holy Trinity is the God Father, Holy Spirit and the Son which is Jesus, or the Word of God. It wasn’t a human sacrifice, it was God in flesh sacrificing himself for us . To understand the sacrifice better, before crucifixion during last supper with appostoles He ripped the bread and gave a sip of wine telling them to eat his flesh and drink his blood. This holy communion is practiced every Sunday in every Christian Orthodox Church ! (Yes orthodox the only Church that remains unchanged created by appostoles themselves) to explain the holy communion in a simplistic form, imagine you drink a drop of God’s blood therefore it will mix with your flesh and soul, cleansing it from sin!

@@21agdmnm God is not a man. God is eternal and does not die. You're just telling me A is J and 1 is 10. I'm sorry but it's illogical and incorrect. Plus that comparison of the brick being made of clay and fire and water is incorrect too. Fire and water and clay are not equal to one another, do not share the same properties and don't have the same strengths. In fact that comparison just shows how ridiculous the trinity is. He is uniquely One. The Eternal, the Absolute. He begets not nor is He begotten. There is nothing comparable unto Him. This is God. Glory to Him, far exalted is He above that which you associate Him with. May He guide you to His truth and repentance before its too late. Ameen.
