Cody I'm an Atheist, and what you believe doesn't offend me at all. I agree with you, a man is judged by his actions. I'd sit in a Sunday service with you, I'd say grace with you at your dinner table. (although I don't know the words. ) If someone has issue with your beliefs that's their problem, not yours.

I'm agnostic, bordering on atheist and I LOVE that you do that. It's such a personal part of your life that you choose to share with us and I appreciate it fully. I must admit that it's softened my heart quite a bit, in fact leaps and bounds beyond "typical preaching" because it's real and you're teaching by example. I really wanted to convey this to you when we met in Boston. Meeting your wonderful family cemented the beautiful image I already had of you guys. Please keep doing what you do. What you're accomplishing by sharing your life with us is bigger than all of us.

You don't strike me as someone who discriminates against your subscribers for their beliefs and thoughts so it seems only reasonable we return the favour. Keep sharing your experiences, your knowledge and your thoughts mate. It's what makes you who you are and I think the vast majority of us tune in for that very reason. Power to positive thinking!! It seems to me that for atheists, no proof is available, for people of faith, no proof is necessary. You're no poorer for listening to someone else's point of view.

I have never liked when people tried to force religion on me, and to be honest i find shaming religious people is just as bad. It is a simple matter of choice and respect. Cody, please get you a regular ground rod, drive it into the ground and hook the ground wire to it along with the faucet column. The faucet column is not enough of a ground by itself. You already said old pipes are steel. The ground rod would be much better for your situation.

Hi I'm 16 and enjoy watching your videos everyday from Britain. They provide insight into the homesteading lifestyle and have made me consider taking this way of life. However, being an atheist I disagree with your religious view. However these are you videos and I still enjoy listening to your endings. While I may not reach to god to guide me, they are still useful and you should 100% keep doing them. If people don't like them, they don't have to watch. This is your channel, your content about your journey and your homestead. I really enjoy the gardening and woodworking videos and especially loved the remodelling videos (made me want to buy a place and do it up myself although this is a long way off) so keep up the quality work.

I love hearing how you integrate your spirituality with your work and family life in general and your love of virtue especially. If it was prententious and contrived, it might sound a bit awkward, but your authentic love of your faith is very admirable and clearly a source of spontaneous joy. I wish our world had more neighbors like yourself!

It's so funny to me that last night in my apprentice class we had a test question specifically about grounding to metal underground water pipe. According to NFPA 70 which is the National Electrical Code in Article 250.52 (A)(1) a metal underground water pipe must be electrically continuous for 10 feet or more to be used as a grounding electrode. Thanks for all you do I've learned so much from watching your videos I just wanted to share that little tidbit that I recently learned.

I don't Know if you have every stated which religion you do practice, but as a practicing Catholic, I can say the world has gone too soft. Everyone has adopted this notion that we all have to be alike in every way and that religion is something to be ashamed of or evil. Jesus has taught us that worship and prayer is a private matter and an intimate one between you and the Holy Trinity. We are to worship in private but spread the Gospel and love of Christ through our actions and reading of the Gospel publicly and or privately. Keep the content coming! Don't ever change in order to please anyone because they think its "Unfair" or "Offensive".

I love the rants like this - not because of what is said but because it shows you care, it shows you have passion as well as weakness like us all. We are all on a journey I believe and I love that your journey is about a higher integrity and connectivity to life, nature, family, spirituality and community. I consider myself an unorthodox christian who rallied against it for many years for numerous reasons, but is exploring it again and exploring what my upbringing in a Christian home gave me. So i really enjoy your messages and also i enjoy the fact you share your shortcomings- i too have committed myself to working on myself as a father and husband so I can be the best version of me. Everybody is talking about the rant and stuff... But 2 feet deep for a water line? Here in Michigan we need to go down to 4 feet (I think it's actually 46" or something like that, but for all intents and purposes). I can't believe out there frost line doesn't go deeper than 2 feet.

As a person who tends to skip the religious parts of your content, I will say this. It is your content, man, not mine. I have zero control over you, nor do I feel as if I should. I like your videos, and I especially appreciate how family friendly they are. I don't skip because I disagree with your opinions, but because it does not usually apply to my own situation and where I am in my journey through life. Here is how I see it though, and feel welcome to correct me if I am wrong, no one is perfect. If they take their time to post negative comments, tell them to unsubscribe if they wish because you own the channel and it's content, not them. No need to allow them to get under your skin. If I went around allowing things that others think of me and my ways to get under my skin, there would be no going forward. It is too easy to get drawn into the negativity, but that is the last thing we need. Personally, I just ignore what they said and if they are someone who means something in my life, I go out of my way to try and boost them up. If they are some random person, then I just go about my day, no skin off my back.

I accept that we Atheists are a minority and that most content creators will not have the same world view as us. I do sometimes skip the religious parts of this channel and others but I am happy that Cody has found a way to live the good life with religion. I also hope that the religious in this community can understand that you can live a good and moral life without belief.
