Calvin it was in your Goldeneye discussion with David Zaritsky that you remembered Bond saying “baby”, not the solo “in-depth” review. But yeah you’re right the subtitles show “believe me”. I always watch films with subtitles on, bc they always come in handy from time to time, instead of having to rewind every time I can’t hear or understand what someone says.

Whilst watching "A View to a Kill" the other day I noticed a few things that may be relevant here. 1. The Q briefing scene talks about how Zorin is creating microchips that are not susceptible to electro-magnetic blasts - I like the idea that the helicopter in Goldeneye is fitted with Zorin microchips. 2. Although I agree that the Blu-ray subtitles are correct in Goldeneye (Bond clearly says "believe me"), it should be noted that blu-ray subtitles are not always that accurate. In A View To a Kill, at the racetrack, M says "set it up Tibbett" but the subtitles say "set it up David" (which caused me a bit of confusion at first when I was trying to work out who on earth David was). Then when Stacey is screaming "James" on the firetruck, the subtitles say "Jeez". So I wouldn't necessarily take subtitles as the final word.

Thank you for leaving the rephrasing of the "awful lot of the comments" line in the final take...although I know you didn't mean to. As a creator it's great to see the curtain reveal of the behind the scenes, a "hey, that's just like me" moment. That said I am NOT going back and reviewing my original videos. I honor you a KZfaq Viewers' Choice for doing these. Thank you, fine sir.

Regarding the Serra soundtrack; it fits the movie; but it's among my least favorite to listen to on its own. For that honor insert every John Barry soundtrack. With apologies to Arnold and all the others Barry's music is just the best. I don't have to be actually watching the movie while enjoying his creations. And it's amazingly easy to identify the movie and scene for each track.

The things you liked about the film still hold up the things you didn't like do as well apart from the "Baby" reference all those years of being annoyed for nothing. The score is okay it works as audio effects rather than music for me. Love it in the film outside of the film only 2 tracks get played on the soundtrack album. It's all a bit ear rapey. 😂
