Loved the video. I absolutely love Campsbay, and that tidal pool is my favourite of the lot. Whenever I am down in CT I try to go for a swim every day, winter or summer.

This place is for the rich , sea food platter for two R490 thats not normal .But Camps Bay is a beautiful place ( sea and mountain) Try the west coast just as beautiful -Nice video.

R490 for a seafood platter for 2 is cheap compared to overseas prices. But for most South Africans it would be considered expensive.

If you're looking for a more local vibe, neighborhoods like Kloof Street and Gardens are fantastic options with easy access to restaurants and cultural attractions. I have dined at a table next to one of the richest men in the world, with his family, in one of those restaurants. I have recognized famous Hollywood actors cycling there and in Sea Point. I could name them, but the whole point why they love holidaying in Cape Town is that Capetonians are so discreet. (Capetonians are also vain... they would much rather take selfies than bother with Hollywood stars or business moguls.)😆

The downside, of course, is that the average South African has as much chance of buying a dwelling in Camps Bay as the average American has of buying an apartment in Malibu.🤦‍♂

While the area is certainly known for its luxury real estate, the high cost of living and housing can create challenges for many South Africans., unfortunately)) .
