Unlucky Jon, some rip with those fresh grooves. Looks like a wide sole on that Takomo wedge, I'm a digger and find that and high bounce help. Fingers crossed I'm not too late for some Takomo competition luck, 101t 2degrees up and an inch longer please 😀

So close! I've been to Boomerang dozens of times, & that's a very trick hole. Especially when the ducks have been leaving their trails behind! I think a set of Takomo clubs might do the trick for me 😊

Nice shots, really close. It really looks like Takomo is putting out some real quality and really good looking clubs. I don't think I've seen anything negative about them. I would love to get a set one day but, for now I'll keep playing this set my son picked up at a garage sale about 10 years ago. I guess they were a box set, driver thru putter with a stand up bag. The driver broke, putter was replaced and straps ripped off the bag, but I'm still playing.

This was a very entertaining video Jon! There is certainly a lot of positive noise around Takomo right now, and your feedback on them has me thinking it might be time to retire the 11 year old Callaway Razr's. Keep up the great content!!

Waiting on my Takomo 101ts right now. I do wish they had more lofts on the wedges, 48 and 52 dont really feel like they fit with the 46 degree pitching wedge. Need like 50, 54, 58 degrees. Also that pin cam was awesome, nice idea

I was ready to give you the hole in one on several shots. None-the-less, dis you find the takomo wedge to fly higher and shorter than your 525’s?

Thanks - they were getting closer! Little hard to answer on the wedge distance. I was using the 52 from Takomo and my normal Ping is a 54 Glide 3.0, so not from the 525's or the exact same loft. I'll do a more detailed wedge review. Felt nice though - possibly a bit heavier.

@JonPerkinsGolf the shape kind of reminds me of the old Cleveland Tour Action wedges. Matter of fact, I still use my 50* Cleveland Tour Action when the ground is hard during the summer here. It works great on hard pan lies.
