As is now customary, the channel will focus on the Top 10 or so favourites to win Eurovision 2024 (going by the bookies), and answering the question, CAN THEY?
In each episode I will take a look at:
The nation in question
Its history at the contest
Last year's Performer/s
This year's Performer/s
The Song
What's Going For it?
What's Going against it?
Will Juries Like it?
Will Televoters Like it?
My Verdict on whether the country can win, or not.
Next up it's: FRANCE
France is being represented by the hugely talented Slimane and the song "Mon Amour"
Can this performer capture the hearts, AND VOTES of the viewers and juries alike and bring France its 6th win?

France is my favourite this year, so I may be a bit biased. But, I can see France doing quite well with the public vote (amongst the casual viewers). Perhaps they will see too many "novelty acts" (Netherlands, Croatia, Ireland, Estonia) and mabey France will get their vote for being a good song with a great singer. Who knows?

Yeah I think it’s top 10 for France. One of the best ballads alongside Belgium (presuming that’s a ballad).

France can win Eurovision song contest this year they deserves it so much after 47 years without winning since Marie Myriam and her song l'oiseau et l'enfant. I think France can win Eurovision song contest this year with Slimane and his song Mon Amour.

No, unfortunately there isn’t enough gimmick or screaming to entertain the Eurovision fans. That ‘contest’ is no longer a place for this kind of song or artist. Anyway the winner has already been chosen by the bosses and with the situation in the world it is a politically neutral country with gender neutral artist. That’s the truth.

Non ! On a soit-disant seulement 5% de chance de gagner !!!😢 Les pays de l'est sont nombreux et ont l'habitude de voter entre eux , de se soutenir contrairement aux pays de l'ouest qui votent simplement avec le cœur. A moins d'avoir la chanson du siècle. Mais rien n'est joué et c'est aussi ça que j'aime. Des chansons qui ne sont pas attendues et qui se retrouvent dans le top 10 et des pays qui chantent ENFIN dans leur langue officielle ❤
