Andrea, I admire you and all the things you do. I don't know how you accomplish everything you do. Of course, I'm 78 years old, with severe spinal issues, so I do understand that I am going to be limited in some respects. I still love to cook, and I do, but not as much as I used to do! God bless you and yours. Ben will be in our prayers for sure as well as for his doctors' skill in performing his surgery. Please take care of yourself as well. Love you all!

My neighbor and I recently obtained grass fed beef, lots of tallow … it just occurred to me that the “tallow butter” may work exceptionally well for my mother (total bed patient) …

The recipe I used was one cupTallow 1/4 cup oil I used sweet almond and jojoba and itWhipped perfectly

I guessed your secret ingredient before you named it. I used to use a touch of beeswax in my homemade soaps to make them very conditioning and long lasting. I love using it in personal products.

I made a tallow salve with oregano oil and coffee extract earlier this year. I love it for both hands and face.

I enjoyed this video. I'd love to make my own soap and whatnot. If I can get beef fat from my daughter's father in law, I might try it. I do want to encourage people who are making their own products to research the essential oils they want to use because some are poisonous to ingest. I know people are not eating soap or lotion, but you want to be careful if it's lip balm or facial lotion.

I would always use accurate scales for that type of recipe. That way, if there is an issue, you know the product is different and not the mix. Everything must be so worrying when it’s a product to be sold.
