Doctor Ken D. Berry, on KZfaq, advocates a high fat carnivore diet. So confused.
@MsCjmaxi
@MsCjmaxi 15 күн бұрын
@devildogsbushcraft7898 it is confusing . However, it is clear to me that high-fat diet leads to TOFI, and liver disease. No matter what the A1C is. I started watching her videos because I want to heal my liver. I also have uncontrolled diabetes. I bought a bag of seven whole grains that includes beans and I cook it in my rice cooker. I Incorporate it in among the fresh fruits, vegetables, and lean meats. No need to eat bread.

How does one person consume a whole block of tofu in a day? Once it's open you got to eat it. You ignore the investment ( $ and travel)in acquiring the ingredients for that healthy sandwich

Put your leftover tofu in a container and completely submerge it in cold water. Then put it in the fridge. You should rinse it and change the water every day or every other day. I’ve kept tofu for 5 days this way and it’s seemed as fresh as when I first opened it.

For a family, 1 block feeds everyone. But for individual servings, Personally I would freeze it. It comes out with a different chewier texture that can be added to soups and stir fries. I even made my friend lasagna with tofu instead of cheese.

Not all tofu comes in a 16 oz block. I have found it in smaller sizes. Raw tofu can be stored for a couple of days when resubmerged in water.

Though I appreciate her knowledge… having Hashimoto’s for 40 years, I don’t eat any added sugar, no starches potatoes or rice , no bread, no pasta. no gluten, no grains, no soy, no meat, no dairy except some casein2 sources for kefir, feta. I eat leafy greens, avocados. Asparagus, kale omega-3 rich fish, berries, olive oil, turmeric, ginger, garlic lemon…I rarely eat beans because they are so high in Carbs. I try to limit my carbs to under 30 Carbs/ day. Her suggested meals have too many Carbs.
