I personally was able to boost my metabolism, I went from 287pds to 184pds in about 6 months. I'm 6ft tall Hispanic Male (PR) who was raised on rices and carbs as part of my diet from the moment I was able to chew. It was hard to reprogram my eating habits but if you really want it you can do it! Good luck to everyone and thanks Mind Pump. You guys were my compass on my fitness journey. All good , believe what you want. My doctor thought I had a medical condition. I'll say this , heartbreak is a great motivator. I don't recommend it but it made it easier to control my appetite and motivated me. I'm currently at 196 as I've gained muscle through weight training. And looking to gain more. Good luck to you man.

@@mr.killluminati1220 Goggins lost 100 pounds in 3 months. I personally did lose 80+ pounds in 6 months when I was a teenager so it is quite possible. Everybody around thought I was suffering from some kind of condition. I was TIRED of being OBESE.You just gotta have dat dog...

Lost lots of weight doing keto and regained my metabolic health. Everyone told me I would gain weight by adding carbs. Well, I lift weights 3 days a week, added carbs, and gained almost nothing. Thanks to your podcast, I increased protein intake and overall calories. Maintaining weight and now gaining muscle. Keep up the good work.

I did the exact same thing, did clean keto for 8 months, loss 85lbs. Right now I’m in the middle of eating carbs (two weeks in) and doing resistance training for 2-3 months. I haven’t seen the scale more much but I’m noticing my shape change.

I messed up my metabolism eating as low as 1000 cals.🤦🏻‍♀️ Now I get fat is I eat more than 1300 calories

Big thing I noticed is people not knowing that 0 calorie cooking spray actually does have calories in it. Someone said its like 5 calories per second of spraying. Same with 0 calorie butter spray.

Hi Sal My metabolism is screwed up after years of crash dieting. 😢 Here is my situation.lost about 80+ pounds few years by extremely low calorie diet. Gained it all back slowly and steadily despite eating quite normally. I am 35 M 5'11 300 lbs tested my rmr and dexa recently shocking to see that I have 45%BF and my rmr is just 1250. I have 150 lbs of muscle. I am doing heavy weight training (compound only) 3 times a week and couple of cardio only days and consuming around 2000-2200 calories avg 100 protein and balance carbs and fats. Weight is the same zone. (2+2-lbs). Not losing any fat or gaining muscle. Don't know what I should to fix my metabolism and lose fat 🙄🙁Any advice pls. Can you recommend any of your programs that might help ?
