I had no idea I wasn't meant to kill him so I kept dying and restarting for easily half an hour until I beat him with the sword. Then I got the bottom, saw three dudes and learned fighting probably isn't the way. It trained me very well haha

Here's a hint no one asked for: if you have trouble telling where the middle of the screen is while shooting the bow, look 3 inches about Henry's first knuckle on the hand holding the bow, the arrow always goes right there, makes shotgunning knights in the head at point blank with war bows easy

you can wipe out all cumans, there's a spot you can escape the kill wall, you can get out and go to sasau and sell everything, go back and kill more. I could do the entire game except the main story, then come back and do the main story in full plate armor 20 stat in everything

If you run at him, you can can take him down with stealth. Even if he resists, it makes him drop his sword, making him easy to kill.

Nice job. After I made Henry strong and left skalitz, I kill the first cuman and then helped Theresa by crushing two cuman's head in with the bailiff's mace.. 😜😂

Unless you guys want to do this or learn how to strike from horse..Just train yourself inside Skalitz before leaving. Herd the sheep into building and keep training yourself on them. Around 14 strength, you can try choking out Guards - works best if you worked up your stealth to up 5(chameleon perk). Not moving and in no clothing - works most of the time. That way you can get a lot of gear. Including Pikes. You can take a pike with you on a stroll when leaving Skalitz. Just have it on you when taking about nails. You 1-2 shot Cumans with it! Proceed to slay them all. Care not to enter instant death zone. You can also strike them down from horses..have fun!

When you get the horse, you can take out every Cuman that comes down the road and is attacking Theresa by riding back and forth and thrusting with Sir Radzig’s sword. Great way to get some early XP.

The first cuman was an adventurer like me, then he took several arrows in the chest.

That opens new options, for example after the sequence with the arrow in the leg, it might be possible to turn around, get in a house or something and equip the cuman helmet and armor and just serenely walk to Talmberg...

Just FYI you can also do this by running left uphill to the wall and jump over one of the rocks - that way you can snipe him from much closer with head shots (unless you care about the helmet)

Pro tip cut a dot out of paper and tape it over the Dot on your screen befor you pull out ypur bow and you have 100% chance of hitting your target .

Game: Brags about being hyper realistic. Also game: enemies take 10 arrows in the fucking chest and don't die.

This first Cuman is like first boss in ds1.

did you know that it is extremely difficult to get the first cubans in a womans lot? you climb up the ladder and shoot them from the top but it deals very little damage

Oh, in the beginning I could not beat even that guy who owed my father money, so when the Cumans came, I just run in a great fear and thus killed none of them 😅 (But I surely saved Theresa because otherwise it would be too shameful to play further...)

The best trick to kill all of these cumans here is to get on a horse and keep galloping around them, one by one hitting each with a sword and eventually, it takes bout 15-20 mins to take all (10 or so) down. Plus, it also teaches you a new skill to fight outnumbered.

And the only arrow to groin was fatal. Battle system seems to be dramatically realistic.

I killed the first Cuman with a bow, I disguised myself as him, but while going down two more come up and the fight begins even though I am disguised as a Cuman. Was this somehow patched in the game update?

If I am not watch this video I will not believe there's someone who already done the same 'smart' tactic like me 😂😂 year ago, the only difference are I already max out my stats with sword and archery skill by shooting/slashing cows and sheep, then steal the best early bow and arrow I can get from the towns guard. When I reach that place I shoot the cuman to help Theresa first then start shooting duck later.

I just did this. Took him down from the rocks up the hill. He took about 7 arrows (which I got back afterwards 😂). I also killed all the cumans on the road down there stabbing them from the horse. Now I'm in Talmberg and I can barely move 🤣

Maybe I just follow orders, but the game said 'escape on a horse'. It didn't 'say stop and help Teresa'. I mean I may have stopped if I knew it was Teresa, but I was out running Cumans on my horse at the time. I just thought, crikey, graphic game and just rode by, escaping . Later Teresa told me she was thankful I went up behind and hit the Cuman or something, I got a little guilty but hey ho, sure I did Teresa, sure I did....

Aim for the legs, this guy have no leg armor so it takes 2-3 shots. Save headshots for reinforcements with open helmets

Can you kill all Cumans with a bow ? YES YOU CAN ! that's what I did and got a ton of loot and awesome weapons and armor

I remember doing this while exploiting a hill they couldn't get up to, and starting out with a lot of Cuman gear as a result.

I killed all of them cumans on hardcore mode with a halberd and horse. Left skalitz with a full set of armor and weapons. Easy

to be honest, you can kill everyone. I used godmode for that. I'm not saying godmode is a legit way to kill them, but there is no scripted death for you or invulnerability for enemies.

I start every game by killing every cuman in that area, after a while they stop spawning, run for the horse then gallop through them stabbing one each time until they all dead, easy
