I do pipe welding on aluminum walking cup. Is required enough practice to manage that.

Acetone works better all a wire brush does is push the oxides into the metal

I figure that since a/c is used on aluminum to help dig through any oxides, no clean up between passes is needed because you are going to dig through oxides anyway. But I might be incorrect

It looks cool. Yes But what is the advantage? If you want a thick/wide weld, just wait a little longer and use more filler wire. Doesn't that also bring more heat into the component and then have even more problems with warping? It's certainly not more economic, I only know it from stainless steel welding and there you have a lot longer. Can someone explain to me whether this brings other advantages besides the optics? greetings from Switzerland💪

More heat more time no advantage I guess. Even in this video when he runs fillet welds I can see the overheat. Maybe just for fun?

I'd imagine that you would use this technique on large aluminum peices to do repairs. I say this because there would be more heat disapation to counter the large amount of heat you would be putting into the metal and you get to put down alot of metal quickly.
