Soldiers stormed the beaches near McNabs Island in Halifax Harbour Tuesday as part of a grueling training exercise.
From jumping out of helicopters to riding in boats, Canadian soldiers get down to work in Halifax as they participate in advance training, working to qualify as Patrol Pathfinders.

One of the most rewarding courses i’ve done along with my jump course! Eventually posted to CSOR then the hill…. i am glad i am retired now but completed my CF bucket list

how does the pathfinder course compare to csor selection in difficulty?

We had a few Pathfinders teaching my reserve Recce course in Pet in '92. They commanded quite the presence, and turned a lot of heads. Truly calm and quiet (for the most part) professionals.

Simply theee best . Them and JTF2 are the top of the best Canada has. Pathfinders are just completely hardcore.They can hang with any in the world -EASILY by the way.

Oh Goody. Canadian pathfinders dropped off in broad daylight less than 100 yards off shore by an obsolete antique helicopter built and patched up with chewing gum and built in the early 60's I'm so impressed with the training and planners in the Canadian forces. Now if we can just recruit Mickey and the gang.

You know theres a difference what they do infront of cameras and behind cameras, the CH-124 is now retired since 2018, so 8 years ago seems only logical to use it for training purposes. Its commonwealth mentality, not the gear but the men that do the job. Why so salty did that Mickey plushy of yours gave you a smegma rash?
