I admit, it took me a good 15 minutes to start feeling comfortable shooting with this camera again! It definitely does feel a lot different to shooting with a much smaller body, people notice you more for sure. But as hard as it is, you just have to pretend like you’re still shooting with the small body! In the past there’s no way I would have approached people to take their photos with such a big camera, but because I’ve been doing that with the fujifilm - I pushed myself to try it with the Canon too. Thank you so much, that shot is one of my favourites too. I just enjoy street photography so much so I’m glad it comes across to others too 😊 I didn’t feel limited in the respect that I wasn’t letting enough light into the lens (I’ve been using f4 lately a lot anyway for street photography) but at times I did just feel like I wanted a little more bokeh! But other than that I didn’t feel limited, it’s a lot of fun having such a wide focal range to play with - hope this helps!

@@deryncorbett Hi Deryn R6 is ok for video but it has only 20 res and brought out in 2020...a lot of compact camera have 20 res...better getting a sony with 24 or 40 res instead Gerry Cautley Shankill Dublin Ireland

@@gerardcautley8903 the 20 megapixel in the R6 is an okay amount I think! I’ve seen people blow up their images shot on a 12 megapixel camera to big print sizes and you couldn’t tell at all. I guess the only time you’ll notice the 20 megapixel is if you crop your images a lot 😊

Oh man, the 50mm 1.2 is on my dream lens list! the 24-105 is excellent, but if I could afford the RF 24-70 2.8 I definitely feel like that would replace it for me

@@Francisfphoto_ I more would want the 24-70 2.8 for client work, for example it’s great for weddings because of the 2.8. But for street photography alone, I wouldn’t feel the need to upgrade from the 24-105 😊 hope this helps!

@@deryncorbett yes please do - I am keeping my eye open to the canons but still wonder whats the f4 going to be like when its most likely going to be the first kit ill use for a very long time. or shall i push for the 35mm f1.8 instead and not have the zoom range (know 1 friend who's done that) then the next question is - would it still be worth to come back for the 24-105 again haha. anyways very nice photos today and love seeing street photographers doing more interactions with people.

@@JayGrapherTh I guess it all depends on what you will be wanting to capture? I always recommend primes, and the RF 35mm is brilliant. But if you’re after versatility I would go for the 24-105, especially if you’re going to be filming video too. Also the RF 50mm could be an option for you to? Pretty cheap and very lightweight lens!
