You should also mention that Carcassone is also a real life city, well know because they still have their castle, wich make it a great tourist attraction and being part of the UNSECO.

So Carcassonne treats their peasants NOT like dirt? Wow, really glad i'm picking these guys when the Bretonnia patch hits.

I wouldn't go that far they are still expected to work and taxed up the wazoo they just also take pride in fighting ability.

The Inept General Given their more frontier/border region, I feel that Carcassone as whole has a higher ratio of yeomen and free peasants to regular peasants when compared to the other dukedoms. Also, and maybe this would be a better question for the Brettonia lore video itself, are there ever any yeomen archers that fight dismounted? Because it would make a little (a lot) of sense given Brettonia's France/Plantagenet inspiration with Arthurian lore, since the Plantagenets used yeomen archers (and eventual armed archer retinues) and basic logic (it's easier to use a longbow on foot than on horseback, with some archery enthusiasts and historians considering actually firing a longbow from horseback impossible due to the huge and unwieldy size of the longbow).

Dude, i love WH and WH 40k, watch s**tload of lore videos like every day, came by on one of your videos by an accident like 5 days ago. 5 days later i'm after watching circa 40 of your videos. I have to say that the videos you produce are veeeeeryyyyyy goooooood information wise, and I hope your channel will grow, because IMHO it is criminally undersubscribed ATM. Best wishes and keep up the good job!

Maybe they should add Huebald as the leader of Carcassone instead of the Fey Enchantress, and instead make her a recruitable legendary lord once Bretonnia has been unified. Huebald could have as a leadership trait that he can set ambushes without loosing chivalry, but he gets less chivalry from victories as a result. Maybe add one or more "Shepherd" units to his roster or make "Shepherd" units regiments of renown. A quick question, due to the constant fighting, are the peasants of Carcassone (or at least the ones who serve as men-at-arms) freer than other Bretonnian peasants when it comes to the possession of weapons and the ability to travel, and or are there men-at-arms and yeomen better than the average Brettonnian foot soldier because of their frontier status? Also, and this is just a matter of opinion, I think that Brettonia should have had a more Elf style setup when it comes to settlements, since each dukedom generally only has one real city of any note, said city being the capital of the dukedom, so that each of the fourteen dukedoms could have been represented as single settlements with ten building slots like the elves. Because the current system of having 7 relatively weak provinces of only two settlements makes a unified Brettonia so much weaker than a fully unified Empire (including Marienburg and the wasteland) economically. Because the Empire will end up twice or even three times as strong as Brettonia once united, when the lore seems to imply that despite being more rural and agrarian the gap isn't that large. Like a unified Brettonia should be two thirds or three-quarters as strong as a unified Empire from the way I understand the lore. What's your opinion on such a suggestion? Would it make Brettonia OP or make it better able to stand up for itself? Maybe in order to balance it out they could make Middenheim it's own faction and change the Empire tech tree to include something like Brettonia's dukedom heraldry techs and make the Imperial provinces a little less likely to fight each other? And then break up Estalia and Tilea into multiple provinces for balance? I just don't think the province system really works well for Brettonia.

Jamie Wanless furthermore I think carcassone’s duke is the only brettonian lord that uses stealth tactics so maybe they shouldn’t lose chivalry from using ambush

Do you think the Irrana Mountains will become a Province once the Skaven are added? Since i always found that West part tip of the Vaults that is empty can definitely fit Skaven settlements like Foul Peak or Putrid Stump. Also that part of the map in-game is smaller than in real lore. So they probably will end up putting those settlements there near Skavenblight.

i really hope so too!!

Also, ten US dollars says that if The End Times hadn't happened the Iron Orcs would have ended up being Skaven experiments involving copious amounts of warpstone and Black Orc bodies/blood. It would also be funny if that ghost you mentioned was a secondary option (Huebald being the primary option) as the leader of Carcassone and he could occasionally summon cairn wraiths in battle as a reference to the spirit hosts he sicks on people who refuse his requests.

I have to say, hanging a sword above a baby's crib does not seem wise. I hope they don't experience many earthquakes in Carcassonne! Thanks for the great video! I imagine they put the Fay Enchantress in Carcassonne because it just makes an interesting and different starting location. Where does she usually reside, if there's any one place? Couronne?
