The Ford F-Trucks with the powerstroke 7.3L V8 engine has a high pressure oil pump on top to keep the injectors closed, it has 2 o-rings on the outlet side that are smaller than those ones you got from Holden and cost about $180 for both (not sold separately). But you can use PJ and PK Ranger aluminum sump plug washers and they only cost a couple of dollars.

I'm pretty sure the gm oil is the only option, get a set of vs fuel rails and you slightly modify them and youll have a set of expencive billet rails for $60 so that when you fit an intercooler it wont require a long ass extention for the injectors and you get the added benifit of not heating up your fuel. I love this series and im glad you remembered the yellow o rings this time haha. if you want details on the vs ecotec rails message me and ill send you the info that works

I laughed hard when you went back for a second look at the O rings, I use Vaseline (Coz nobody wants to go in dry right?) as both a Lube and as a holding compound for Nitrile and rubber O rings on Injectors etc, Dissolves fine in oil/fuel and doesn't hurt anything PLUS I get to watch the faces of the girls in the local Pharmacy when I go in and buy up big on Vaseline every few months. Reminds me I have to ask for them to stock the bigger Party Tub of Vas.

The L67 has a +.020" piston ( they sit out of the block ) so you need a gasket in the order of .060" to get correct clearance. I'd have copper coated the gaskets. With the blower, I never use any gasket or orings. 1 tube of ultragrey for $10 and that seals the lot.

scotty don't use the arp thread sealant, i tried using the stuff multiple times on my ecotec v6 when putting studs in and they leaked every time, my tuner has also had the same problem with the arp sealant and he never uses it, i tried a few other brands and they leaked as well, so i ended up giving the trusty loctite 596 a go and for 6 months now i still don't have any leaks, when applying the sealant make sure to apply the sealant to the threads in the block and the stud, and do one stud at a time as the sealant will start to dry rather quick.

With regards to intercooling I believe you've said the plan is Air to Air. Why that over a Air to Water setup? Since Air to Water would make the pipe work less hassle no? Also maybe I forgot but didn't L67s usually come with the 4L65 trans? Or is that too annoying to put an electric box into the VN as opposed to reusing the VN box? I'll admit my memory is foggy there as the only VN I owned was a SS with a T5 behind the 304. So keen to see what some porting will do in the long run on both the heads and blower. I mean you'd surely be around the 300-320rwkw at that point.
