Just wanted to say thank you for showing a real grocery haul, this is what most of our groceries look like but society makes us feel shame around indulging. There are no good or bad foods, it’s all just food. Lots of influencers like the show this picture perfect grocery haul of only whole foods and that’s just not real life. 🥰

@@kkaayyllaaf i genuinely mean this kindly, some foods r nourishing for ur body and some are nourishing for ur mental and emotional health 💕 so in an inherent sense, there are no "good" or "bad" foods. food is enjoyable and it gives us pleasure as humans to eat even if it's something not nutritionally dense. it's all about balance and portion sizes :-)

I don't like this idea that eating healthy food is not "real life" ? I haven't had most of these junk foods in years just because they're so fake to me and make me feel sick. Probably because my body is used to eating actual meals and not processed junk. There's nothing wrong with eating junk food sometimes, but to say a whole haul of it is "real" (implying that most people eat this way? and that eating healthy food most of the time is fake?) is just wrong.

Yeah, I felt seen too with the liners but I also felt better that I'm not the only one with issues like this. I'm 46 btw...and I swear to god that if I have one more person to tell me that I "just need to work on my kegel muscles to make them stronger so that won't happen" I will scream and someone will.....be....in trouble....😂

What I do with my bananas is pull them all apart and space them apart on the counter because they go brown faster when they are still all together! Then you should have yellow bananas that won’t go brown so fast! 🥰🍌

For the bananas, this won’t really help with online orders, but when you’re in the grocery store they usually have a pile of individual bananas that have fallen off of bundles. I always buy those ones because they get ripe at different times. Also I heard the individual bananas often get thrown out so it can help reduce food waste too

I love Erin McKenna's!!! My Mom and I have a ton of allergies between the two of us, and it's the only bakery we've found that is entirely gluten free and vegan (we've found others but they're either one or the other or only have a few options for either or). There's one in Disney Springs in Florida, it's our go-to spot! That's so sweet that you ordered from them for Alexa and Karina

Carrie- when you buy bananas 🍌 separate them from the bunch. It slows down the ripening process so they won’t brown as quick

Idk if someone said it already re:bananas, but if you separate them, they don't all ripen super fast! They apparently give off something that ripens the others around them, so keeping them apart helps them ripen slower.

For your bananas, separate them all from the bunch. You can still store them in the same bowl. They will “rot” at a slower pace that way lol 😂

I try to keep my bananas away from other fruit. They seem to ripen and get spotty faster if they are in a bowl with apples or other things.

if you keep your bananas and avocados next to each other in a basket or something they will usually ripen way faster which might be why yours turn brown so fast!

I’m surprised you can eat that kind of stuff without aggravating your IBS and anxiety and period symptoms etc. So many fun things, but I have to eat very clean with low sugar and preservatives or my anxiety worsens, so does my joint pain and headaches and GI stuff. Glad it doesn’t bother you like it does me… eat for both of us girl!
