Big fun in Carrollton Georgia at the 18th Annual Carrollton Stampede Rodeo. This event is produced by Shari Wilkins of the The Cowboy Shop in Roopville, Georgia. As always, many thanks to all my friends at Southern Rodeo Company for their hospitality.

For this event, I used a Manfrotto carbon fiber 190x tripod, dug holes in the dirt to get it as low as possible.
Camera bodies for all my rodeo videos are Sony A7IV. For the action shots this time I used a Sony 70-200 f/2.8 (v.1) lens. I was concerned about the size and weight of this lens, and even though it got kicked by a judge who was climbing the barrier to escape a bull, it performed perfectly. For the crowd shots I'm still using a Tamron 20-40 f/2.8 on a Ronin RS3 Pro gimbal. Footage is 10 bit 4:2:2 at 60fps.
If you have any questions about my approach to shooting rodeo, or any suggestions on ways I can do a better job, please comment below. Thanks for watching!
