Rodney Dangerfield

Күн бұрын

Rodney Dangerfield delivered so many jokes that night, Carson had to break for commercials. Originally aired September 2, 1974 on the Tonight Show.
02:01 “When I was a kid, my old man didn't help me either. I asked my old man if I can go ice skating on the lake, he told me to wait 'till it gets warmer.”
07:27 “My wife's a cold person. Her side of the waterbed is frozen.”
09:07 “Doctors say when a man makes love to a woman, he burns up energy, he loses 150 calories. I made love to a girl once and lost even more. I lost 150 calories, my watch and my wallet.”

@@DrMic2112 she's not a troll, she's a butthurt, snowflake generation kinda chick that allowed herself to be offended by Dangerfields first politically incorrect joke and that was the end of it for her. She prob only watched to the end to see what a train wreck looks like, bcoz in her eyes he's a creep. Then she saw him sweating profusely while sitting down and wiping his brow-sweat all over his face and her contempt for him just grew stronger and stronger. She feels superior to him bcoz she sees herself as perfect and behaves well in public and around her friends but is probably a total narcissist with her close loved ones and partner. We can only hope that ppl like her will seek out psychological help to work out their deep-seated childhood traumas that were inflicted upon her through poor parenting.

@Cat Egorical I audibly laughed out loud the first time I heard that. It wasnt a deep, prolonged, guttural type of belly aching laugh, but a laugh none the less. Its ok if you dont find him funny. But to be out here handing out back handed compliments is pointless. You dont find him funny. So leave it at that. Baiting someone into answering whether or not is self serving. If a masturbation joke is funny to me (us, whomever) then what does it matter to you? You dont get the humor or appreciate it. Thats fine. To judge others that do make you an asshole.

@@dreynolds4883 i agree, sometimes, especially with seth rogan type humor (remember sausage party?🤢), it just gets way oversaturated

@@dreynolds4883 and I'm an adult who thinks if a comedian is funny enough it shouldn't matter if they're vulgar or not. Humor is humor and I just can't understand why people go out of their way to be offended sometimes.

Such a wonderful nostalgia. I always loved sitting at the foot of my parents bed watching Johnny Carson. Absolutely loved his monologue. Came to appreciate how he interviewed his guests. Dangerfield was absolute gold in this video. Just classic. In the video you can see Johnny‘s left hand out of view and then also underneath the desk. I think he had a cigarette that he was waiting to take a puff on after the camera was going to be off him.
