The plaintiff says her sister, the defendant, has always been dramatic and has been kicked out of school multiple times. The plaintiff alleges she hired and paid her sister to cater an event, but the defendant arrived late with an inadequate amount of food, so the plaintiff is suing for a refund. The defendant claims her friend dropped two trays on their way into the event.

The defendant said “tooken back” and “I seen” but expects us to believe she speaks grammatically correct English. Just because an environment is predominantly white doesn’t mean it’s not the “hood”. I grew up in middle class very diverse neighborhoods, and never had the idea that white = smarter, classier or better. If she was ashamed of her race, I doubt it was for the reason she gave.

Judge Mathis rulings are inconsistent. The defendant never countersues the plaintiff, so why is he cutting the plaintiff judgment in half? In a previous case, Judge Mathis said he couldn't rule in favor of the defendant because he never countersued
