The plaintiff gave her daughter a loan so she could attend a women’s conference in Miami. However, the plaintiff says her daughter failed to pay back the money and blocked her, so she’s suing. The defendant claims her mother didn’t give her a deadline to pay back the loan. Furthermore, the defendant admits she blocked her mother but that’s because they got into a separate dispute.

I confess: my mind shut down when I saw the mother's crocodile tears quickly metamorphosize into laughter when she was called out by JM. There are very few legitimate reasons to abandon your child. It's a toxic, unhealthy relationship. Classic case of neglected child feels entitled to disrespect the parent because the parent wasn't there for them as kid and the parent feels entitled to a relationship and respect simply because they are the parent. Just pay the lady and go your separate ways. Call on holidays and birthdays, bring the kids over for supervised visits on the holidays and move on.

The mom seems like she has Narcissistic Personality Disorder. They will abuse you one minute and say they love you the next. They are two faced back-stabbers. The fact that she abandoned her daughter then had the gall to sue her for a measly 600 bucks is ridiculous. So sorry for you. You are truly better off on your own. God bless you. As someone who wasn't raised by my mom... I am on the moms side. I see a delay in mom and I can tell she did the best with what she had. My mom was a teen mom and my grandparents raised me. They wanted my mom to just MAGICALLY get a job and a home. My mom was barely functioning as a damn adult with parents that gave orders and NO MF DIRECTION. Talked bad about my mom to me like she was the problem. My grandparents took good care of me but dropped the ball on still being parents to my mom. My sister was easily brainwashed into thinking my mom was the villain when it really was my grandparents. They weren't bad people, the were just ASS BACKWARDS. The daughter reminds me of my sister. Selfish and will ask a blind dog for money...turn around and act like you robbed her if you ask for it back.

This mom is one of those “missing missing reasons” moms who become estranged and grow old crying about being abandoned to anyone who will sympathize. (Even though this one actually set that tone and is owed no relationship whatsoever). Look it up! There are whole websites about children who were raised by narcissists becoming adults and the sad mind games of the later-years that those parents usually fall into once the abuse is cut off.

I raised twins sons by myself! It was hard but I did it, they are 31 years old now living productive lives. I could have done better in my parenting, I was just 19 years old when I had them and had no direction. I did the best I knew how. We are working through things now, I told my sons I will never disregard what you are sharing with me that you felt I did, lets deal with this. That is the first part of a childs healing is for the parent to ACKNOWLEDGE their childs feelings and work through it. The daughter was wrong for exposing her on social media, I had that done. Her mom was right there she could have talked to her, she still owes her respect in spit of.
