Biker Stuff 2

Biker Stuff 2

2 ай бұрын

This is the start of me going over the CBR400 NC29 I bought in October 2022.
Today I am removing the front end to get ready to check it over and replace what is needed.

Hi Dana, great video as always, this just goes to show that no matter how long you have worked on bikes that you can learn something new. The brake calipers are always getting in the way and I've never hung them like you did, great stuff, no more frustrating calipers battering my fingers, thank. Take care both you and Gary.

Good job on the strip down. A little spray lube will help the fork tubes slide in/out easier.

When holding the wrench try a holding it in your supporting hand with the palm of your hand underneath and pushing up and forward so you've got support make it easier especially on shallow head nuts where you could round the nut off
@neccron9956
@neccron9956 Ай бұрын
I would recommend in investing in 6 point sockets & box wrenches (I noticed that you were using some 12 point sockets). They will reduce the Witness marks, on bolts/nuts, and will have a better grip when torquing (on or off) bolts.

Glad to see progress on the Honda. It looks like a clean bike. Missing bolts always concerns me, people can do weird things to machines. Doing a complete restore like the Kawasaki? Hoping you do reach million subscribers.
