Wanted to use magiclysm but didn't want to deal with all of the technical mumbo jumbo? Well this aims to do just that, learn how to cast spells efficiently and prepare your mental arsenal for which spells to grab

Fun fact: the only sense stone golems have is sight. Enjoy that info with your blinding flash spell.

In case you didn't know. Any spell can be learned from NPC, even the ones usually learnt from mutations. Having a dragon friend has never been more usefull.

I did want that Dragon Aura spell without giving up my Medical/Alpha threshold. Yesss.... Also not gonna say no to a better crystallize.

That first one, lighting yourself up in darkness? A cool scene from Dresden Files had a room full of wizards and the lights go out. _Nobody_ makes light. As Dresden the detective says; *that's the #1 way to get your ass killed in darkness with hostiles.* Instead, the head wizard telepathically teleconferences everyone and writes a battle-plan on a mental blackboard in dream-time. Tremendously cool. Oh my... That Mojocycle, and X-ray Vision... Very nice indeed! Definitely going Biotek

Whenever I play as an Animist I always normally take biomancer to offset the hp drain thanks to cure light wounds let alone I like their spells anyway.

Nice to see someone else making CDDA videos. If you're ever thinking about it, would certainly like to see some lets plays of it too. Not enough people doing so in my opinion.

Hmm. I'm tempted to do a Broken Cyborg lab run, break out and rush to get Cure Light Wounds. It'd be my only method of keeping my health up until I get the poison and self-mutilation bionics out.

Luckily phase door can also teleport you BACK inside...maybe...lol. Using quantum Tunnel is the best bet to save yourself if you manage to be ported out of a building by any other means. Just managed to do that the other day....Put me back up into the room I got tossed out of.

Yeah, that becomes a big problem when you learn too many, that’s why I replayed my save every time to keep the spell list from getting too crowded, at least there’s quick binds for your spells.

Other than actual monsters/npcs, can targeted spells target anything else for practice? Either I have mod that messes with it, or it's changed because I can never cast a targeted spell on anything but something that's alive. Thought I'd practice on a practice target, but nope. It always shows the "Stop targeting?" prompt when I try to use a practice target or empty square. EDIT: Nvm, I see that it's related to tags of the spells themselves. I might just go in and add ground to the ones I want to train this way. Or I might just have my character read a lot.

I’ve actually been trying to update myself on everything, the proficiency system is weird, and I did notice that mod in the loader now but I haven’t experimented with it as of yet, got a lot of ideas but not enough coherence to turn it into a proper vidja’ yet

I’m playing and I found a Druid spell named Floral Healing and I can’t find any data on it anywhere I was wondering if you knew anything about it

Yeah, I would use the spell system if it wasn't so badly trashed by bionic power. Maybe I'll make a mod that removes this connection between magyclism and cbms, but for now, cbms are far more superior. Especially if you remove the limit on the number of installed cbms lol..

Well, you can become a biotek, which apparently helps with the mana penalty
