kind of, the Flood are basically Mutated Precursors. to make a long story slightly less long, the Precursors created the Forerunners, didn't like them, then they created humans and decided to give them the Mantel. The Forerunners threw a fit and launched a surprise attack on the Precursors, causing them to go into hiding by turning into dust and going into stasis. However, the DNA in the dust got corrupted, causing the Precursors to return as the flood. However, before this, the Precursors are not native to the Milky Way, they basically go to each Galaxy, create life, and move onto the next. To what end, we may never know.

We do know they are multi-versal and hyper-dimensional. They do move and shape galaxies at will.

Like the Flood, they could take any form they wished, but they were not consumed by hatred and a hunger to devour everything. They were Tier 0 and were there long before the universe even existed as we know it. In what way exactly is unknown, but their civilization was 100 billion years old. The universe is, what? 30 billion? They were the builders of life. They made the Forerunners, Humanity, Sangheili, everything. Halo is only perceived as weak because of the current factions and also added with the fact the creators tried to make it realistic as possible.

@@BillGates-bg1wz and unsc ships aren't that weak when compared to star destroyers, i mean, they are, but that doesn't mean they would lose, unsc ships have UNLIMITED RANGE because of how MAC in space works, 3 unsc frigates can just stand back and keep shooting at any star wars ship until it's dead. It's the same thing with our world, the unsc in terms of doctrine is almost a thousand years beyond star wars, in star Wars they fight like we did in WW1. The unsc would beat the empire for the same reasons an F-22 raptor would beat an x-wing, the range difference is just otherworldly, even more so with unsc ships. That's why even the infinity maintained the MAC cannons and doesn't use energy weapons for anything major

The thing is, that's not a mutual kill. If the Forerunner's decide to use the rings, they can hide in the six hundred some shield world's they made. Or, of their using the gigantic 30,000 km rings from the greater ark, they can send a halo pulse out as a directed laser, so they don't have to inadvertently nuke all life in the galaxy.

EckhartsLadder I usually love your videos and how 99% of the facts are correct however the ones and abeloth are the only existing celestials you can find this out in fate of the Jedi book series not to mention the fact that they clearly are embodiments of the force the father is balance the daughter is light the son is dark and abeloth is chaos so from i have read in all the series of books there has only ever been these celestials and now I'm going on to the second point center point station was not built by the celestials but for another purpose which was keeping the maw together. The entire purpose of the maw was to contain and imprison abeloth. There is another station in the maw which was built by the same race that built center point. Together the two stations kept the maw intact and abeloth imprisoned. the celstials were not an empire.but rather sentient embodiments of force energy I feel this video would've been better had you pinned the rakatan empire at it's peak power against the forerunner empire. Kings slayer He had brute captains with him, you know. Plus, one Spartan II like John would have done the same as Tartarus. The Arbiter is what really makes things difficult to decide whether said spartan would have won or not. The Sangheili Council isn't much of an upgrade to the Honor Guard, which is what the 3 Spartan IIs faced in Halo Wars when covering Forge. Yet Atriox defeated all 3 of them? That's some serious dominance.

TheT7770ify I’ve never heard people bitch about Kylo as he makes sense, he’s Anakin’s grandson. Rey is a literal nobody with no training, she makes no sense under traditional cannon, but the movie introduced a new concept. At least Starkiller was Vaders apprentice who was trained from childhood.

At the time of "Empire Strikes Back" Luke had one sparring session with old Ben Kenobi and few weeks of training under Yoda under his belt. Starkiller had ten years of training under freaking Darth Vader, the greatest Jedi killer in the franshise. Think about that for a second.

Starkiller was the child of two Jedi masters and trained under them until Vader found him at which point he trained under him for a decade all the while having a droid that could simulate dozens of force users trying to kill him constantly. He had training from master of both the light and dark sides of the force his entire life. That feat that everyone points to of the Star Destroyer? It was already descending at an unsafe speed. Even though Starkiller is the most OP character ever, he still makes more sense than Rey.

Just to add, Starkiller force pulled Vader's lightsaber from his hands when he was a child. That says a lot of how OP he is with the Force.

Ancient humans, because the current humans were devolved into hunting gathering species which is us. Our ancestors who were space fairing already and just below the forerunners technological prowess was able to fight both the flood and later the forerunners for over a millennia. Until they were finally defeated at a pre curser shield world that they reverse engineer with human tech (keep in kind they were besieged for 40-80 years if I remember) and were then devolved as punishment.

321gman The Forerunners. The Ancient are not really advanced.

It's a mismatch. Even assuming that the Ancients don't restrict themselves from directly interfering with the "lower" planes of existence - which was sort of the fine print that came with ascending - you'd just end up with the Ori. And powerful as they were, the Covenant alone could probably give them a run for their money. The Asgard certainly could and the SGC did as well despite not having nearly the same numbers or other advantages... although, granted, that was partly due to the Ori being unable to directly interfere due to the Milky Way Ancients preventing it, thus forcing them to act through mortal agents. That said, the Halo Array probably would do the job much as Merlin's weapon did. It's an energy pulse on a far greater scale than the Dakara super weapon which was useless without the Stargate network to transmit the pulse on a local level, and as powerful as the Ancients were I don't recall ever seeing them demonstrating the same kinds of feats that we saw from the Forerunners when it comes to stellar/galactic engineering. Different technologies, yes, but nothing quite to that degree of scale or power. It really comes down to which version of the Ancients you're talking about. Mortal such as those that once occupied Atlantis? Forerunners win in a curbstomp. Ascended? Things get a bit trickier there, and that all comes down to guesswork and pure speculation, although the Precursors were much the same as Ascended beings from what we know of them and their neural physics based technology - and the Forerunners wiped them out the first go around.

@@diamondsandgold1993 well for starters the forerunners tech out match anything in 40k, and since ancient humanity rivaled the forerunners in tech you got two powerful species capable of invading the 40k galaxy from multiple angles. Seconds is the forerunner and ancient humanity industry, both being very large, they would likely out produce anything in 40k. Third is their fleets and how op those fleets are, forerunner ships could make stars go supernova, and since ancient humanity rivaled the forerunners in tech it's safe to say they could to. Last but not least is their form of ftl, slipspace is without a doubt superior to the warp, it's quick and safe. All in all, this war would certainly be a long one but the forerunners and ancient humanity would most likely win it.

@@somegeek153 I believe its said both have trillions of troops and can causually destroy planets/stars. Necrons in ancient 40k can teleport which would be faster than ftl speed technically. A single Necron ship has also out performed a fleet brought by the imperium if man. Thats notto say the Forerunner couldn't do the same. It'd definitely be a tough fight for eother side to win as their stats are insane. Most of 40k factions would fall to Forerunners tho.

Kenneth Kates I only know the basics of the Zerg but I would say they would win. But reading this gave me an idea, Zerg vs the flood. They are both hive minds that swarm their prey and use the corpses to grow their numbers.

They both win. They infect each other, becoming a Flood/Zerg hybrid race and annihilate every living thing in the galaxy, even the Xelnaga and Forerunners.

The Flood infect way faster. But the Flood/Zerg Hybrid would be sick. Imagine a pure form flood and then they have access to make all the Zerg specialized forms.

Not likely. Forerunner technology was a lot better than human technology and they were roughly the same age as species. The only real leg up humans had was combining their tech with other tech to produce things the Forerunner's didn't have, like the weapons they made by combining their tech with San'Shyuum tech to create guns Forerunner armor couldn't adapt to and that one time acceleration thing that was used on the primordial that they created by studying precursor tech in Charum Hakor.

@@danielawesome36 No they didn't. They created both the Forerunner's and the Humans, and when they tested them, they found the humans to be more worthy. There's no reason to test them if you created one to be superior in every way to the other. There's also very little proof that ancient humans were naturally physically superior to Forerunner's. Both lived thousands of years naturally (the Forerunner's expanded this lifespan by hundreds of thousands of years with their medical technology) and were bigger and stronger than baseline modern humans.

Curly because they parked their capitol, Charum Hakor, on a treasure trove of of precursor artifacts, to the point that the planet had entire cities built on top of the star roads coming off of the planet. The Forerunner's were more focused on building their own stuff, which was definitively better than human tech in a number of areas. Forerunner armor could adjust to attacks and make itself immune, the medical technologist in their armor could extend your life by an insane amount of time and fix radiation damage on a molecular level nigh instantly, their biological sciences were way superior, their mega scale astro engineering was vastly superior (shield world's, Dyson shells, halo arrays, the ark's, maethrillian, etc.) and the humans had no analogue to it, and their understanding of slip space was superior, what with their ability to use clench (using slip space to view future timelines and create non linear causality to control outcomes and change probability), and their ability to weaponized casual reconciliation and shut down slip space travel in the vicinity. Also, their industrial capacity was superior as well.

The bullet proof factor is a bonus, The armor is designed to help the user survive a deadly blow, typically from blaster fire.

The colonial marines use 10mm explosive tip caseless which is standard light armour piercing round.

john Calderon star forge is shielded by a shield created by the rakata, strong enought to take down hamerhead size ships, empire won't probably be able to get through it (probably only the death star could take it down)

The Star Forge wasn't very well armed for a station of it's size nor well shielded. At the time of the Rakata's empire they didn't feel the need too build much external defenses cause they controlled like the entire galaxy and got cocky I guess? Revan getting a hold of ISD designs, not impossible but I think the Star Forge only accepts Rakata ship designs?

Humanity would have still lost even if the flood didn't attack them, the humans only had a couple thousand world's ( I think 2,000, maybe more) but the foreruners had millions, they also had much more fleets and resources to pull from, however all of that doesn't come close to their most powerful asset ( which isn't the halo rings for once) the ability to completely shut down human connection to slip space, how are you supposed to retaliate when you can move your fleets.
