For the first time Andorid 17 and 18 experienced fear Cell is right down to business he is not wasting anytime. Cell is the best villian my favorite moment is when Piccolo is launching his attack his theme song kicks in this one's for Gohan and Goku. 🔥🔥🔥

I’d like to think Piccolo’s light grenade attack at least broke off parts of Cell, and while Cell was in the water, he regenerated those parts since he has Piccolo’s cells. Crazy episode! Amazing animation.🔥

Same although they have a habit of showing the damage caused in dbz, I think they should have kept piccolo somewhat more competitive really, not stronger than cell but not far off either would have been good.

Possibly, but Cell tanking the attack with zero damage does a better job of showing how massively he's powered up since he and Piccolo first squared up. Also, remember that no one knows Cell can regenerate at this point. We don't find that out until he battles #16.

even if they had joined to fight cell they still would have lost as cell is alot stronger now after absorbing all those people he is at full strength trying to escape was the better option.

Android 16 is stronger than Cell first Form. Cell's absorption does not work on Android 16, who is a complete machine, and he does not get tired, so Cell, who has stamina, will lose. Moreover, it has a secret weapon: a self-destruction that can blow up the Earth.

It seems to me that Android 16, the big one in the green armor, has the consciousness of Dr. Gero himself or his son, because he had a child long before the creation of cyborgs. Somewhere I heard that such a possibility may be possible or it's nonsense. Android 17 and 18 are probably humans since they have human emotions, but they have cyber implants and extremely high combat and defense abilities because 17 turned on the shield when Piccolo attacked very hard. That's right, the Androids didn't know that Cell existed since he reacted this way. 17. Doctor Gero created Cell in secret, even from themselves. Cell is a perfect bio-cybernetic-synthetic being.

Cell actually did go super saiyan literally. He has that transformation ingrained in him- it's as if his body was fully saiyan. Pretty crazy

The problem with the Androids is even with tons of evidence right before their eyes they can't comprehend anyone being stronger than they are. I mean, in fairness, they beat 2 Super Saiyans without breaking a sweat and despite Piccolo giving them trouble they firmly believed they would win in the end. Something being orders of magnitude beyond them is just inconceivable to them. It's why it took Cell destroying Piccolo with ease to make them afraid and start entertaining the possibility there IS something stronger than them.

Cell has the super saiyan aura cause remember he has Goku & Vegeta’s saiyan cells in him, Gohan he cares for Piccolo like family but even if Gohan went down there to help he would get killed, Cell is far too powerful thanks to him absorbing all those innocent people

This is so sad I was shocked and very sad when Cell kills Picollo and then threw it into sea I almost cried that was so hard to watch. Even Android 17 and 18 are been shocked. Gohan is also really care about Piccolo because he was training him when he was a little boy and Picollo learn Gohan how to fight. Very soon we see Android 16 in action against Cell and that would be a very interesting fight to watch. Thank you guys so much for great episode and beautiful reactions you are always be the best!!!

@THE-ANCIENT_Predator I mean he absorbs ppl like Freddy Kreuger and gets their fighting strength and powers. Freddy Kreuger did that since part 4 and gained their strength and powers in the dream world. Although the fighting strength is pretty low Raditz himself found on his scouter a power level of 5. So each person Cell absorbed gave him 5 to 15 power levels so 10 on average. If he absorbed a million that's already 10 million added.

I don't know why to this day Androids 16 and 18 just watched Piccolo and 17 being massacred, if it was everyone together maybe there would have been a chance but the problem is that it absorbs someone. Cell breaking Piccolo's neck was brutal.

Piccolo's Gekiretsukodan is a very powerful move but, against Cell who have absorbed several hundred thousand people, it's nothing. Piccolo's neck is broken after Cell's punch but not mentioned in the adaptation
