Here's the thing to keep in mind with this episode. The History of Trunks was never shown on TV. It was only available at the time on VHS/DVD (I still have my VHS copy). It was released October 25, 2000. This episode aired November 6, 2000. For many of us, myself included, we either didn't know the Trunks' movie was out (which was my case) or didn't have money to buy it, so for a lot of DBZ fans this episode was the first time we saw the Future Trunks came from and our first time seeing Future Gohan. I remember vividly being stunned seeing Future Gohan for the first time.

Seeing Future Gohan again 🔥🔥🔥he holds a special place in my heart and you saw how easily they destroyed Vegeta. Gohan with one arm put up a much better fight as we saw in the future history of Trunks. And the art for this episode is top notch amazing the drama, Music, dialogue amazing. And then when Tien was like he'll beat cell for sure Piccolo didn't say anything because he's not convinced. And i said once I'll say it again Perfect Cell is Awesome🔥🔥🔥

Trunks USSJ maybe do something against Cell, but he won't defeat him for anything in the world. A regular episode where Cell and Trunks had a memory and they told each other theirs. How, when and why did this happen? Dr. Gero only created Cell in revenge for Goku's destruction of the Red Ribbon Army when he was still a child in the first series.

I love so much when Trunks is powered up in front of Cell that is so great, cool and awesome scene. Cell is now very strong the Z Fighters must find the way to defeat Cell and I believe in all of him that they can do it especially Gohan. Because only Gohan will be able to defeat Cell when he reaches SSJ 2, he will be hellishly powerful. Goku wanted his son to be stronger than all Z warriors. But it's still a long way, it will be shown in training before the appropriate effects come out of HTC. Gohan vs Cell will be the second fight in the entire DBZ series since Goku SSJ vs Frieza.

The animation in all of these episodes puts Dragonball Super to shame. It’s like a night and day comparison. I guess they forgot how to animate 🤷🏻‍♂️

they were always on a tight schedual so not enough time to make it perfect , movies have more time to corect animation mistakes etc series are like this mostly .time constrained

LOL I like the cold opening.😂 That’s variety. Some DBZ reactions have literally the same intro in every watch along.LOL They both truly are the ghosts of tomorrow. Trunks vs Cell is not even supposed to happen in this timeline. Side note: Future Android 17 keeps bi****in about not having enough fun. They should’ve just gave this guy a video game to play! PlayStation 2 or 3 should’ve been out by then! But, who’s gonna make it. They’re probably dead.😂😳

Vegeta and Gohan had the same problem beating villains cuz of their egos. Vegeta and Gohan could have beaten cell but their egos got in the way. Tbh Goku has always been the protagonist and that would never change.
