Fun Fact: According to Toriyama the only reason why Cell survived is because he dodged at the last second. The attack was powerful enough to kill Cell.

He could have been defeated if Cell hadn't moved. Final Flash is a really powerful attack that requires an extremely long charge. But I don't know if you know Cell has one more secret up his sleeve. A bio-processor in the head which, if not destroyed, can regenerate the entire body and become even more powerful.

You can tell Cell intended to challenge the final flash head on, but when he noticed this attack was different, he moved. Thats why only his side was incinerated.

Instead of powering up, I always believe Vegeta pushed the added power he possessed from USSJ Grade 3 (What Trunks powered up to) into that Final Flash, which is why Cell had to move. 💡 Remember that Trunks had actually exceeded Cell's brute strength.

Fun fact Toriyama stated If Cell took the fully powered final flash head on as he originally intended and didn't dodge/move to the side at the last second, he would've be completely disintegrated. Cell realised this at the last second second hence why he was like "what's this?! Oh shi move" but the side of his body still got clipped.

If im not mistaken, out of all reactors i've seen lately, she is the only one to mention that possibility this early and with such certainty. Just imagine, Trunks lost everybody in the future, including his father. He knows Vegeta's pride is everything to him. Trunks knew if he joined the fight, or powered up in Vegeta's presence would ruin his pride. Vegeta would rather die than let this happen.

Even Vegeta's Final Flash won't do anything, he's trying for nothing. This attack will completely exhaust its strength. Cell in this form basic power level would be able to destroy the planet and much more at maximum charge. 11:00 Gohan is very beautiful now in this stage. It is clearly visible that he has exceeded SSJ full power and is going more forward for SSJ 2 and is fully ready to reach this new power level. 19:09 Wow, even for a moment Cell felt the power of the charged Trunks full power SSJ, which means he is stronger than his father. I wonder how strong he is.

Half Sayins have the potential to surpass their full blooded offspring, hench why Gohan when he recieves the SSJ 2 powers is able to surpass his father (Goku). In this Trunks Sayin form (people called it Ultra Super Sayin) where this form will give him raw power and muscle mass density, but the drawback is he wouldn't be able to catch his opponents with his muscles being in that form. What do you guys think?
