I was just gifted a blown Skar VXF15D4. While I know this is an opportunity to build it bigger... I was actually able to source a Sinful Sounds WRATH15D4 recone kit. By the looks of things and doing some close comparison (as much as one can do with a stock photo) I determined it should be an almost identical drop in. I also modeled both the VXF and the WRATH in WINISD and found a decent box design that almost perfectly aligns the two. I am hoping that some magical way this turns out perfect lol If nothing else I will sell the sub for $250 and be up $150... The basket runs $68 on LOB and the motor has to be at least a $150 motor if I bought new.

youre right, in the right mindset.. i quit the railroad for a cash job.. i dont work from home, but $1000 cash a week for about 35 hours of work allows me to be home alot more, doing what i enjoy. a huge difference from $900 a week for 70 hours, spent in a trainyard... catch is, no $10,000 tax return.. no bank loans.. personally i feel the trade off is worth it.. my ol lady on the other hand, she just deals with my decision.... lol.. shes the tax returns and bank loans kinda mindset...

I dont how or why im just now finding you but im thankful I did. Ive been out of work for almost 6 years now because of back issues. When your 6'6 and have done back breaking work your whole life the back says fuck you im done lol. Now car audio is pretty much all I do aside from scrap metal and the occasional flipping of car audio and other things I find. Seeing this video gives me hope and ive been all out of that lately. I know in the past you have voiced how you think SPL competition is dumb BUT I would love to see an extreme demo/competition build using Robot subs (the middle finger decal on cap would speak volumes a fuck you bro brands lol). It would be epic to see a robot build with your subs a bank of your amps spank some Sundowner, J penis, incriminatory ect builds. Talk about how irritated Jake would be when that video popped up on the tube. I think burp competition is totally dumb it doesn't say squat about the performance of equipment taking burp specific subs in one note wonder boxes and subs going ham on big clipped to shit wattage, but doing a 160db+ on music now that's impressive and way harder to achieve and it really shows how insanely badass the subs are to flex that hard on way over rated power. Where should I start looking for old, blown, speakers/amps etc. My cousin told me today I could get his old blown12in Sundowns (I don't know their stats) But I'm looking for them golden dumpsters behind malls and such!!😁 I've seen some nice electronic @ the recycling center (flat screens, PC's, etc. I'm interested in the gold they use to build the motherboards) but they won't let you take them off the property once unloaded. Think a Facebook page/ad "looking to buy wore out car audio" would be a good start?
