k so this is just a fan theory but I think at the end the shepherd after rose is sorey and rose's child. This is because he has sorey's facial structure from what we seen and has a mixture of sorey's brown hair and rose's red hair. Also both of rose's underlings are both in old age so the time line would fit.

So, how did you stagger his third ultimate attack while he's armatized? I've failed 5 times with 3 red guard charges. Don't tell me to beat him before he does it, since his ultimate attacks are based on his HP amount.

**spoiler**...... during the credits I thought this game pulled a *tales of the abyss ending at first and I thought well that's all right with me then it continued and shows future Mikleo giving me hope of a more inclusive ending.. then we got this ending... his shadow is literally no different to how it was when he was awake... time has obviously passed significantly yet his outline is the same... 😣 seems like it was a pretttgood game regardless however 😀..(can't say Its anywhere near my favourite though) thankyou for uploading 😀

Man, this ending was so empty, makes you appreciate Xillia's ending where it explained how everyone is doing (the first one), and to be honest, this game didn't have the SQUAD feeling the first Xillia had :L

*Zestiria* on the surface tries to come off as gray morality, but the story is such a mess that it ends up conveying this really cynical message instead. That's my issue with Zestiria as it tries to be one thing, but the story is such a mess that it ends up saying another thing entirely. Subjective, yes, but these "gray" moral moments you talk about fall flat on their face. *Rose* is implicitly shown to always be right and she never seriously suffers consequences for her actions which is a pretty fuck off on the game part. At least in *Vesperia*, *Yuri* visibly felt the weight of his actions and he wasn't happy to kill the people he did, he felt it was necessary, yes, but he treated what he did solemnly. Contrast that with Rose's happy go lucky attitude despite she's a sociopath who doesn't deserve not mercy at all, and she also come out as a hypocrite, I mean she get angry when someone threatens her "family" but when she threatens someone else she act like everything it just fine without give a damn about it. Even *Symonne* point that everything they do is only for their ego and action speaks louder than words. Zestiria's morality is a mess like the morality of *Metal gear series*, *Heldalf* at least accept his fate with dignity and he always speak with a brutal honesty unlike the protagonist who always come with some illogical excuses. So, I believe Heldafl should won and end all the world problem with letting the *malevolence* consume the entire world.

Ending was alright. Kind of a random, unfulfilling series of events though. The first half of the game was suuuuper good. the back half was a lot of events that seemed taped together with no real coherency. The cast was great. Best since vesperia honestly. gameplay seemed solid EXCEPT the horrendous camera. I'd give it a 7.5/10. Zestiria>Graces>>>Xillia
