+Haldrid FTM It's called "Attack Step" in the battle actions menu. I think you get it by buying it in the grade shop or meet a certain requirement in the control section of the battle actions menu.

You have to set a certain amount of damage when he starts his incantation for indignation. Then boom use the final artes for the armatization

well its cause sorey doesn't wake up for centuries so rose and every other non seraphim character is long dead before the events of the epilogue, it was kind of unavoidable to not bring into question.

the re awaken part is what i dont get... like when did that happen? did they mention that in the story?because i was surprised he was back (im assuming hes the one who caught mikleo)

1 theory out there is that since they mentioned that the big 5 can change over time, like how Maotelus took over from Innominat, that Sorey took over the job from Maotelus. Dragons can't regain their original form only through death. So in the ending scene we see a seraphim Sorey saving Mikleo.

Xanadoodoo Yep! After you beat him, your current save file will turn into a "Cleared Game" file, and it will leave you off to do whatever you want. It will bring you back to the save point just before the boss fight, so you can fight him anytime you want to as well.

dont get your hopes up, berseria is the prequal probably capitilizing on giving context to alot of lose ends but the chances of an actual sequel to this game are slim, reception to this game was about as harsh as FFXIII was to FF if not harsher frankly i think the game is loaded with issues but still has merit and is generally better than quite a few other tales games, but it is still a weak entry in the franchise and id rather they move on, im a bit worried about berseria being too tied to this game but that game at least is looking like its got potential.

I personally think the issues related too this games are way much overhyped. Granted camera or graphics causes some hinderance but barely did to hamper my gameplay. Or rather it has something to do with the consoles since I was playing at PC and most poorer ratings came from the PS versions. I do admit I have played little of the tales series (played Phantasia before this and currently in Symphonia) but while lacking of hints and tips, as an action RPG it was fantastic and entertaining as of gameplay. And nothing to describe of the story characters and music. It's probable about one's preference but I still think it's misjudged.

Where was it ever confirmed that we'd see Maotelus in Berseria because people keep saying that but I can't find any articles or interviews stating that such would be happening?

+the lonely shimigami - At some moments of the game it was mentions that humans can became seraphim angels. Not fully stated, but assume Sorey merged with Maotelus to purify him and become a seraph. He then used the time of his eternal life to start purifying the entire continent of its malevolence, a process that is going to take several centuries. In that time, we're shown some after events and time-skips. Alisha and Sergei forge a peace treaty with their conflicting nations. Rose continues to keep Sorey's ideal alive and becomes a Shepard (an important detail I wish they stated much clearer). Mikleo continue to travel with the following Shepards and other seraphs. As well with continuing his explorations of ruins as a hobby. Centuries goes by and he's aged physically in seraphim years. When he falls through the ruin's trap, Seraph Sorey catches him. World is entirely pure of malevolence; bros are back together again. End.

Can't Maotelus purify the world on his own? I mean Phi did it at the end of Berseria one time, why not a second time XD

well might be a bit late but the silverflames are phis blessing, for which he needs people believing in him and not blind worship as eizen tought him in berseria, he was at his peak when he became an empyrian since he had friends who believed in him. But unlike innominat he doesnt have suppression aka the big reset button, and even innominat goes to sleep to recharge after he is done with his job, phi is reclessly kind and takes on the worlds malevolence on his own without rest with shepards and allies becoming less and less. And without a vessel powerfull enough to keep him pure shit hits the fan. Now we wait for the announcement of the sequel so we can kick the door to the heavenly realms in and kick some rears

Totheriver16 You're welcome. :D How so? I thought it was bittersweet because it wasn't completely dark or completely Disney happy but a mix of both.

+Graveage According to plot, Sorey went to sleep with Maotelas for a few hundred years to purify it. The seraphs were freed once Heldalf was killed and his malevolence left him. Rose is as you see, because there is a new Shepherd as shown. Skip even more, Sorey finishes purifying Maotelas and reawakens to reunite with Mikleo, who has grown up over the years. So by the end, yes, practically every non seraph character in your journey is dead, and Sorey himself I believe became a Seraph himself.
