Could you talk about the different types of vulva/penis/intersex piercings, what piercing your clients most often ask you for ( and if you have a favorite one to perform), and what the process is like for a person coming in for their first genital piercing (along with if there is a limited jewelry selection)? Thank you so much for making this type of content!

@@Lynn_Loheide I would love a video about this too! On that note, to continue this topic, I have loved your blog posts about gender affirming piercings, and would love a more in-depth series where you talk about specific types of piercings and how they have helped your trans/queer clients. Personally, I didn't really know anything about genital piercings and how impactful they can be for trans/queer folks, and it's because of your blog and tiktok content (and now youtube!) that I've realized I want this kind of service as a part of my transition. It absolutely blew my mind to learn that genital piercings could be gender affirming, and I can't believe I never thought of it or learned about it before this point. Regardless, I'm really happy to be learning more about this and really grateful that you talk about it. Thank you so much!

It's good you mention the important aspect of "room control". It really kinda matters in all piercings and it's something I think gets overlooked or just simply not taught. Control of the room can make or break the piercing experience for some individuals- especially those with high anxiety or other issues.

I'm only 4:34 in and thank you so much for your openness, frankness, and knowledge and passion you bring to this topic. I am researching becoming a tattoo artist and i've been thinking of how I would react and think about this topic with tattooing. I have much in common with your story and this makes me so much less afraid, and hearing this in trans inclusive language means even more. Thank you so much.

i've had straight bangs for about 4 years now and my only solution for keeping them out of the way while i do my makeup that doesn't ruin the styling is just swooping them out of the way all the time T-T also the way you describe the emotional attachment/journey that piercings have is so accurate and beautiful!

Hi Lynn, as someone who really struggles with setting boundaries, I'd love to hear more from you about that and related topics (such as controlling the room) that you touched upon in this video. This video was very interesting, thank you so much!

Reading and learning about genital piercing is helping me think about possible new ways to connect with my identity as a trans person. Can't wait to see where this leads me.

thank you so much for writing about this. I had a VCH that I couldn't heal, and it was really lovely to see your video about troublesome piercings, it honestly made me tear up a bit because it made me feel like less of a failure as a piercing client. I took it out again due to (self-diagnosed) hypergranulation tissue....I would be really curious to know about common troubleshooting issues. I didn't know it was okay to contact my piercer again and just felt embarrassed. I obviously don't want you to offer advice that people will use to self-diagnose instead of medical advice, but I really struggled with my piercing. I was pierced with a belly-bar for VCH, with a big gem in the end, which I think was potentially the problem. I didn't ask for this, but when it was offered I assumed it must be an easy healing first piece of jewellery. But I would be curious about how you recommend being a good customer when approaching a genital piercing, and what to expect. For example, I knew that having body hair was okay, but I was still nervous about that. I was asked to put my legs over the side of the piercing chair, which I didn't realise was because at the point of piercing my instinct was to try and close my legs really hard. ANYWAY I would really love to consider getting re-pierced one day, and I am not expecting you to speak to my specific issues or give me personal free advice through a YT comment, but I wanted to share what made me take out the piercing, what issues I faced and how to approach a re-piercing. OH ALSO I had no information about how it would FEEL on my sex organs and I know that it's completely different on anatomy for everyone, but it definitely made me more aware of that part of my body in a very intense way for a while.

ALSO - how do you find pictures of what genital piercings look like as a customer? Do piercers have a portfolio book to look through in person? Is there a good forum somewhere? Just some ideas if they speak to you to answer, of course no pressure. xxxxx

Honestly I dislike starting these with navel curves and so often see large pieces like this cause the exact issue you had during dealing. I would consider finding a piercer with a good portfolio of vch piericngs and examples of lots of different anatomy and jewelry styles for piercing! With the right piercer and care and jewelry these are usually super easy to heal! A lot of these other questions are great ones and I’m planning some in-depth videos about different piercings soon so. Stay tuned. ;)!

Im so sorry but i laughed a bit about the Word ”getinal” in the thumbnail 🫣😂 First I thought ”maybe it’s a word youtube dosen’t accept - wierd”. But then I realised that you spelled it correct in the title so that it’s almost certainly a mistake. It’s cute, made you seem more human and like ”one of us” then the godess you alway look like! 🫠🥰

Godess * sorry english isn’t my first language 🫣 so as you can see I miss-spell words all the time. So it’s not me judging - it just made you feel more like me 😅😅
