龍野の町並みから3駅ほど先の坂越とそのお隣の赤穂を散策いたしました。赤穂城内は迷路のようで目的地にたどり着くまでにたくさんの門をくぐりました。
Ako City has long been famous for producing high-quality salt, as it is called "Salt Land" Ako. Salt production in the region dates back to the Yayoi period, about 1800 years ago. And it is also famous as the setting for Chūshingura.

Anna! You have done it again. Your images are so crisp, your transitions constantly heighten the drama of these towns as you record them. I was startled at 9:55 when I saw the Ote-mon gate and that bastion. How wonderful it must be to live and work right there. Again, 11:55 another gate. Beauty and purpose - form and function. Thanks for another wonderful video. Japanese landscapes - both urban and rural - are everywhere blighted by the eyesore of poles and cables. Very occasionally, you will find city streets where the cables are not visible - presumably buried. I wish those in a position to do so would care enough to bury all the cables everywhere, like they do in some other countries.

赤穂ですか。子供が小さい頃によく海浜公園に連れて行きました。こんなに立派な城下町とは思いもよらず…。一度訪ねてみたいです。赤穂と言ったら塩饅頭。これがなかなかおいしいです。召し上がりましたか？瀬戸内の海も綺麗ですね。身近な所ほど見落としがち。赤穂を知る良い機会になりました。

Very nice and successful film. The music is well chosen, for some profound reason I do not rarely get the feeling that I have been to the places where the film was shot, even though I have never been to Japan. Beautiful film about a high culture.

Wow that is a stunning opening, where the sea meets the land.....those homes have a million dollar view! Sakoshi area is so pretty. I love the term "Old Sakoshi Meeting Place" it brings up thoughts of a special and important place. I love the view at 5:23 one could stand there for a while soaking in the views. 5:50 the artwork in this building alongside of the lanterns are absolutely amazingly beautiful! The nature walks of serendipity. 8:39 - 9:17 the views are just breath-taking. The "former Yoshio Oishi's house Nagaya-mon Gate" over 300 hundred years of still beautiful architecture but the main part that captures me is his life works he left behind a great legacy and his spiritual essence, what an amazing history of a great man. 13:45 is absolutely beautiful. 14:02 is a beautiful view....is that an island? 14:06 what a wow walkway with stunning million dollar views for the residents and businesses.....aaaahhhh. There are sweets made of salt here, so I would like to try them next time. The location at 14:02 is at the cape. You can see Shodoshima from this place. The next video will be a walk in nature. I photographed many beautiful rivers. When I was filming the first half of the footage, I felt like I was walking on another planet😊
