In this first live episode, I’m working on a piece called Hot Flash. This is a double sett piece: 8 and 16 epi.
I'm doing these daily broadcasts during the stay-at-home orders for COVID-19 in the USA and around the world. Let's do some weaving to keep ourselves engaged, take care of our mental health, and enable us to show up in the world as our best selves. Weaving can help with that.

You are an amazingly giving person. Watching you weave, hearing how you make decisions, seeing how you decide to change this or that, is an amazing opportunity and I thank you.

I meant to watch live but was stuck at the market! So glad to have the mystery of 16 vs 8 epi with double warps on the wider part! Can't wait to see tomorrow's feed where you go into more detail. (This is Nan from Woodstock NY)

Loved it, Rebecca! Watched it recorded. So helpful just watching you weave and sharing your thought processes for your weaving decisions. Didn’t weave today but I did warp up three looms! Thanks for the inspiration and kick in the pants. (Also, you made me smile so hard when you were calling out the names of people on live with you...made me remember Miss Mary Ann from Romper Room. You’re too young to remember...)

Hi Nancy! I also got the notice after it was over... I suspect KZfaq is pretty swamped right now. I have a schedule posted on my website under Online learning (called Change the Shed). Website is www.tapestryweaving.com for anyone else who doesn't know!

Thanks Jessica!! I'll look into how to do that right now. I appreciate you mentioning it and I'll figure it out for tomorrow if at all possible. I'm using another interface that streams to KZfaq but hopefully there is just a channel setting for this.

I'm having major streaming problems so apologize if you discuss this during the video (which I'll try to watch later with better luck) - I'd love to see a demo of the new Schacht Tapestry loom that you collaborated on, or at least listen to you talk about it.

Why do you use multiple pieces/sections/lengths of the same color yarn in the same row/shed instead of one longer length that spans the entire section? Hope my question makes sense. Or perhaps I am mistaken and you are using 3 slightly different colors of yarn.
